Taking off my caneshades, before richt retired and tyrique signed on the 19th, I thought from a defensive perspective UM made more sense. Ugay doesn't have a DC currently and I thought his relationship with Banda would work in our favor. Also, some of his social media interactions these last few weeks made me believe the pick was UM. Guess I was wrong. Sucks.

He's not a good recruiter. He misses all the time badly. And there is rarely good backups in place. He botched this whole cycle. Tyrique, Jordan Battle, Gant. All that is on Banda. We should have at least one and we'll have none.
