If you recall last year Banda visited him for the day and that’s what that was all about.

It was real eye opening when the staff thought they had Lucas earlier over the summer (was even being pumped up by local guys) and it couldn’t have been further from the truth. I think they aren’t the best at reading these kids.

Honestly 100% real with Chris Henderson, he picked the Gators because that’s the school he felt most comfortable with if all schools coaching staffs left. May have been more to it but honestly the kid made a decision he felt has beat for him.

Peace kid hope you don't bust out or get injured. As to his mom can't blame her but I do believe in Karma and I hope that every dollar she takes from using her son he becomes nothing more than ricky from Blue Chips.. a used car salesman... a nothing..

You don’t think Miami is offering anything to Stevenson? Greed plays a part in these situations as well and some are going to take the biggest bag or try and make the biggest bag possible till they sign on the dotted line. As much as your theory makes sense what if cooney(who knows a lot of south Florida kids and family) plays the bag school by making it look like there is Miami interest when it is really about going to the highest bidder. Think Brooklyn made a comment about not particularly liking cooney recently.

If Tyrique loves Miami as much as he makes it seem to the public he wouldn’t play us like this(would use another school to drive up the bags). I think it is two fold our staff is soft so it is easy to play them and make them think you are coming plus hometown is the only thing that can make a bag school feel uncomfortable.

I hope we are both wrong and Stevenson truly love this city and university but won’t know till Jan 5th. But once again if you don’t think Miami has something on the table bad wise for Stevenson your as naive as it gets.

Cooney's value as a recruiter is done. He took kids from Gables, Killian, and Sunset to Southridge for Billy Rolle those kids are all gone and Miami
got 3 of them in Pope,Wiggins, and Scaife - his connection through 7 on 7 to the high schoolers is over.

Cooney is worthless. I was more making the comment I could see him looking out for the kids and families before he looked out for the university he is employed by. @dsddcane why are you not a big fan?

U just explained it & I have him on tape saying exactly that to a dude he thinks is his boy on a national stage... dude ain't even smart enough to realize maybe the people he thinks hes boys with (especially ones involved in this on a national level) may be closer with other people... just like our staff.

Herein lies the problem, when people who are not very smart, try to outsmart people who have been in the game,
He will be lucky to end up coaching in high school again.

If you have that on tape you need to turn it over to the BOT and Jon Vilma. He will get fired without pay for that ****. Cooney prob gets money to hype these kids up.

@dsddcane I’m not close to the team. All I Can do is not renew season tickets. You have the power and friendship with some elite former hurricanes football players to put more pressure on the athletic department. At this point every cane small and large has to do what ever is possible to make sure we have a new head coach in 2020.

I dont even want Stevenson anymore. Richt does not deserve him. Richt deserves the *** kicking he recieved last night over and over and over again next year. His stubbornness ruined the #2 D in the nation. He completely mismanaged our QBS and he is doubling down on failing. F HIM.. let Stevenson ball out in a real team I Georgia who at least care enough to win.
