this kid lost our team more than anyone. our players didnt believe in him, you can see by the body language. i also blame ag for not giving williams a chance. our def carried us against uf, they got stops in 2nd half against nc when he was horrific, they came up when they had to against wake and ga tech. we were down by one td against fsu and start the 2nd half off with a 3 and out. how about duke when we were up and he turns it over and then next possession gets a personal foul. this kid is horrible, our time of possession is 118 out of 123. no matter how you slice it or monday morning qb it, you guys arent seeing the big picture. our defense was good in the 1st quarter and half the other night but were on the field way too much. this def doesnt have depth, i blame golden for keeping scrubs seniors on the field but morris hurt this team alot and i blame ag for being loyal to him. 3 and out, 3 and out, turnover, quick score on a screen or deep pass, 3 and out, 3 and out, turnover. he is horrible, he is a joke and wont do anything in nfl because he is too dumb to pick up an nfl offense. kid has no feel for the game, no touch on his passes, cant think quickly, locks onto wr's, misses his safety valves, etc. he limited our offense, and help run our defense into the ground. its clear, the more our def was on the field, the weaker they got. match that with a lack of depth and its a recipe for disaster. that being said, we won 9 games but i am venting because i get tired of watching that kid sit there like a big dummy as if a loss doesnt bother him. in college, you need your qb's to be competent. i have no idea how much worse williams can be.

he never cared and his body language was worse than his judgement throwing the ball into triple coverage

i think we are all to blame, for some reason we thought this kid was so much better than he was.

If Golden believed in Morris, Williams should have started the two games before FSU because Morris was hurt. We should have been able to win even if Williams in that good. Then we have better chance of getting a healthy Morris at FSU. I agree that the first drive on the second half might have given us a chance if we score TD. Noles being tied in 3rd would have been new to them. They were rattled at half time. Between faith in Morris and his defense, Al really damaged himself. Williams is more ball control QB, which is exactly what Al's sad defense needs.

he was in a situation were the ncaa thing was a horrible experience and he was loyal to a senior class of scrubs because they stayed. reality is none of those kids would get into another big time program anyway. gaines, cleveland, cain, rodgers, aj, etc none of those kids get an offer from fsu.

You are so full of crap. There was never, in any of the games I saw (all 13), any indication that the team didn't believe in him.

I get that you hate Morris. But to project your feelings onto his teammates is utter garbage.

I'm not DMoney defending Morris, but I'm not on the hatred some of y'all are. Was he erratic? Yes. Did he miss some throws? Yes. Did he make some bad decisions? Yes. Was he singularly responsible for any of our losses? Without a doubt....**** no. The attempt to blame the defensive problems on him are beyond WOAT.

Stephen was a Top 10 QB when Jedd Fisch was coaching him. It's amazing how poor coaching, play calling, and schemes can affect a college football player.

But wait....isn't it about the Jimmy's and Joe's not the x's and o's?

he stunk it up against top teams last year. only thing i will give him is he had 3 oc's in four years.

agreed entirely. this team's greatest weakness was the QB. it affected not only the offense, but also the defense. to boot, he is not only not a leader, but a detriment in leadership because of his attitude and demeanor.

I walked away from the table when it was 3rd and a yard to get the first and he ran out of bounds instead of lowering his head and going for it. Toast.

Morris is worse than Jacory at least Jacory hated losing I mean look at the offer sheets Morris had its pretty telling that he is not Miami caliber, but who cares he is in the past now and we have to look forward to watching Kaaya and maybe Olsen if his dumbass can stay on the team.

I think this will be the biggest addition by subtraction. As bad as our defense was, SM killed us all year long with his inability to keep drives alive. Wish him all the best but will not miss him. I think our team will be dramatically better with a guy who can go through reads and check down.

It's never the fault of only one player or one unit. Everyone participated in the failure. Starting with the coaching staff. Results are usually the sum of the collective work of the team, to a different degree. Yes, QB's hold a great share of responsibility and I agree that Morris did not help. But to blame him alone is not fair.
