From game one, not the injury he had sucked. He can't do anything but quick scores so that along with his ints and 3 and outs causes the def to stay on field too much. The def played hard early this season, got sacks, created turnovers. I feel like the def got burned out a d when they see that big dummy running the off into the ground they figured ***** it. Can't wait until this doofball is gone.

This may be one of the dumbest posts I've ever read.

The defense looked better earlier in the season because they were playing against crappy offenses. If this defense actually quit because they didn't think Stephen Morris was any good, then that's ANOTHER reason why the defense sucks. There is no valid excuse for getting burned out or quitting in football.

You're probably going to regret wishing Stephen Morris was gone. He may be inconsistent, but he is still the best QB Miami has had since Dorsey. Ryan Williams couldn't beat him out even when Morris playing on one leg, what makes anyone think Williams will actually be better?

We have someone name Kevin Olsen redshirting and hopefully brad Kaaya signing. Let the dummy leave.

Btw look up the amount of minutes the def has been on field. They are getting stop and on the field 2 min later. Unreal

The defense would spend less time on the field if they actually got a stop. Miami defense has allowed about a 62% conversion rate on 3rd and 4th down opportunities in the last 3 games. I have no doubt they're getting tired...but it's their own **** fault.

Perhaps you should take a look at the time of possession stat from last night. Here's a hint, we had the ball more than Duke did. Morris wasn't the problem last night, that honor goes to our swiss cheese defense.

With that said, third and four with the game hanging in the balance and he runs for three without even trying to get the first. He did the same thing against VT. Third and 15 (?), we need a big conversion, and he runs for 7.

I'm not inside his head, and I've been a big Morris fan, but he knows he has two games left before a potential payday. Why would he risk ******* his ankle up worse and losing cash? I think he's injured and playing it safe -- obviously the wrong mentality for your team leader.

Start him senior day because you have to, give me Williams against Pitt and in the bowl game to get him good reps for next year.

I would like for Miami to go against their trends and actually give a Freshman an opportunity to play QB, be it Olsen or Kaaya. I've watched teams play true Freshman with a reasonable degree of success all year i.e. Texas Tech.
Miami has got to have one of two things out of the QB next year, a guy that can really read a defense and hit the open guy, or a guy that can take off and make something positive with his feet.

Yeah that mickey D's worker ran McDonalds into the ground. This is actually the surest sign that we're in Coker/Shannon territory here. Deflection, scapegoating, and blame being foisted upon the student athletes. Good job sir, this means we are truly http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1lWJXDG2i0A

OP is a dumb ******* and should be banned.

Stick to sucking ****s in a Bronx subway, f.aggot.

The defense is getting stops?

The only time the opposing offense "stops" is when they are in the endzone. This must be what you are refering to....

I don't understand why everybody has to pick sides. The defense was absolutely atrocious AGAIN last night, I think that everybody will agree with that. The offense put up 23 points last night, not enough in my opinion against Duke. I personally think that anybody who can defend Stephen Morris' performance last night has no idea what a senior captain playing quarterback should do for his team. A senior quarterback doesn't come to the podium after a loss that potentially knocks his team out of a conference championship game cracking jokes about a Snickers bar and saying things like "you win some, you lose some". A senior quarterback, who is well aware that VT **** the bed yesterday and opened up the door for them, shouldn't casually run out of bounds one yard short on third down at mid-field in a one score game when he could have gotten the first down with any kind of effort. A senior quarterback doesn't lose his cool when inside the 10 yard line and throw the ball at an opponent to draw a 15 yard penalty.

I don't know how many of you got a chance to watch the end of the Georgia/Auburn game last night but Aaron Murray is the epitome of what a senior quarterback should be. 4th and goal from the 5 yard line and when things break down he takes off and snicks his nose in there head first and gets the score. That is what I expect to see from our senior quarterback and I just don't see it. He isn't a leader, he is soft, and to be honest I personally don't think he cares that much. He was also the one who caught on camera laughing it up on the sideline of the FSU blowout.

It makes me sick watching our defense getting gashed week in and week out and listening to the commentators talk about how the opponents have apparently put it together on offense that week. THEY DIDN'T PUT ANYTHING TOGETHER ON OFFENSE...WE CAN'T ******* STOP ANYBODY. Some of you guys though get so caught up in how terrible our defense is that you miss how pathetic our quarterback play has been. I know that he threw for 370 plus yesterday, but he doesn't have the intangibles you want in a QB and he doesn't know how to lead. For god sake how much better do you think our offense would be if the coaching staff trusted him enough to throw the ball over the middle. Maybe then we could sustain drives.

Sorry for rambling on....I am just frustrated and needed to vent.
