I work in music management, which is very similar to a sports agents role and these endorsements for someone like Morris will be what fills his pockets. He's not going to make a ton of money in the league for obvious reasons but Drew will shop him around and get him paid in other ways.

You're choosing to ignore the fact Morris was just given $10k for running down a track with a certain brand shoe on. Morris will get lots of these kind of endorsements. So yes get paid... I have an artist was just given $30k worth of guitars as an endorsement. Does it make him rich no but it's a nice pat on the back.
