He's a cane so I wish him nothing but the best. I hope he makes the Jags squad.

Having said that, in typical SteMo fashion, 3 and 9, throws off his back foot and tosses the ball out of bounds.

He developed a bad habit of throwing off the back foot due to the injury. And, frankly, his pocket poise leaves a lot to be desired. Never know. If he can make the practice squad and Fisch can groom him, maybe the guy can stick.

Feel bad for the dude. Best of luck Steven. Hope you stay positive and prove us all wrong.

And people think not having Morris this year at qb is a downgrade. Lol!!!! GTFOH!!!

throws the game clinching interception all he had to do was get the team in field goal range to win

OP. He didn't look great out there but just checked the stat line. Went 3 for 6. I was about to say. When you said 3 for 9. I was like "that's a wrap." Think they keep Morris this year just cause he was Jedds guy.

we were bumping him 12 months ago because of some offseason award he wins. now we're dogging him.

hilarious how we're calling them the next coming till they leave our campus then we dog them when they're gone.

this is the type of stuff that has made this site go down hill.

what was the point of that dig? I simply stated an opinion. why are you so sensitive about an opinion different than yours? keep it to yourself

Question for those in the "know".

Morris obviously had pretty poor pocket awareness and has a tendency to throw off the back foot (possibly a bad injury habit) - but how in the **** does he have such a cannon for an arm? Or doesn't he? I know from watching all those years he definitely has a better long pass then anything under 20 yards - but is it his mechanics? Is it credit to the receivers for breaking loose and he just launches it?

Ok buddy. So how were "we all" dogging the other 3 former Canes playing tonight?

If only fleeing to sidelines and the inability to make the routine throws was a valued NFL commodity. And to think the kid at least went into self preservation mode last season so he could shine on this level.

That said, Allen Hurns has a legitimate NFL career ahead of him. Maybe he can wave to Snickers as he's making love to the sideline.

Nice seeing former Canes balling in the NFL (even if it's preseason). Actually, watching Linder at Center hiking to SteMo at @B throwing a 16 yd pass to Storm J, and with Hurns flanking had an aura of the Canes scout team at Greentree practice field.

But, it sucks seeing snickers being given the keys to a rally, yet tossing that int to end what could have been...
