Nice list, but I wouldn't necessarily call it a small town. In NJ one town stops and another one starts. You have to go to Southern NJ to find truly small rural towns.

NJ is 7 times smaller than FL. Basically, it has 9 million people crammed into the size of Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

I grew up like 20 mins from Piscataway, played them in baseball a few times but not football. But no other town nearby has a list like that (South/North Brunswick, Sayreville). New Brunswick had a few guys with NFL careers but most of the talent ends up in the Catholic schools up north anyway. Even the basketball guys others have named didn’t actually go to Piscataway. Wong went to ND prep and then somewhere in PA, Towns ended up at St Joes Metuchen.

I don’t know what the talent in that area is like recently but they had a pretty good run a decade + ago. You’re right on NJ tho, the township I grew up in had 3 different high schools and the one I was districted for, I actually lived closer to 2 others.

I lived in NJ 20+ years. Freehold, East Winsor, and Plainsboro.

This is true haha. NJ is a fascinating state driving north to south or vice versa you see basically a few different countries in one.
