No problem with Ruiz. He is no different than most of this boards most ardent UM fans but he backs it up with NIL money. He can post until he is blue in the face as far as I am concerned. In Ruiz we trust.

In the grand scheme of things, I also have no problem with Ruiz.

I do think he planned to open his own sports agency before he spent his first dime on NIL, and that he's following a master plan that he believes will make him money over the long run. But given the level of investment he's putting into his personal and Miami's brand, it doesn't feel as slimy as past guys looking to make money off their relationships with the program.

Put another way, he feels more like a venture capitalist than an opportunist.
