I do find it hilarious that in 2022 Florida thinks recruiting should be take the easy road. If you aren't gonna spend big you arent going to get the top guys.

Boys on Gator Country mad at me and a few other posters who calling it like we see it; you better pay to compete. Mad at Money for choosing Miami but we’re saying in defense of him….this is how things are now and we’re also saying…show us someone who Money told that he was leaning or going to UF and even then if he did and lied, so what?!?!?

Keeping it a bean, how many folks in the recruiting world 48 hours ago said ANYTHING about NIL when Money was seen as a Gator lock? Not a **** person said anything about “man UF gonna pay him nicely I bet” But nooooow its all “NIL is all bad for college football” when he didnt pick Bama or UF. Man get THE **** outta here with thay ****!!!

Lol i know you’re exaggerating but i get what you putting down and im sure you see where im coming from too. If it was money that was a huge factor in getting McClain and we didnt want to go that route….then who the **** are we “saving” up for because ummm…we must have a lot of money left over cause *checks commits*, i dont see 5*’s littering our roster lol

Yeah. This isn't the NFL with a "hometown discount". What cracks me up is that Gaytor fans think that "kids who grew up with Gaytor posters on their walls" should somehow choose to go to Hogtown at a reduced rate. And even if it was true that Cormani is a "lifelong Gaytor fan", the very concept that his recruitment COULD come down to monetary issues is an indication that the Gaytors should not take any recruit for granted.

THANK YOU. On the real, all trolling between us aside, it was ALLLL fun and games earlier this week when ALLLLLLL of us Gator fans (and yes, myself included) was clowning Ruiz for how he was going at it with UF fans on Twitter thinking he should be above it causr he’s a billionaire but that should of been a smooth sign something was up under his sleeve lol because he been quiet on engaging UF fans to the degree he had been doing the last few days.

Remember the energy from us Gator fans (not me tbh) was “Ruiz is a broke lying fraud” but noooow “he’s bad for CFB cause he paying for kids”. Which is it my fellow Gator fans lol.

We too worried about competing with Bama and UGA for kids when we cant even beat USCe for Pup Howard or MSU for Jordan Hall or keep Creed Whittemore from flipping to MSU. We talking about catching UGA on the field when we got Kentucky, Tennessee, and USCe problems. Miami going about it the right way; **** the toroedos and pony up. You’ll miss on some kids (which EVERY SINGLE SCHOOL DOES) but you’ll hit on high end kids if the financial offer is right

But my thing is, lets say yall DID win it because of Ruiz money..guess what? It’s legal so it’s all fair game. Dont like it? Pony up or get left behind.

I hate how Gator fans are blaming NIL for losing on Cormani like he was suppose to come to UF for free or a discount. What part of the game is that?!?!?! I always pose this question to my fellow Gator fans; if we aren’t going to get into “bidding wars” for top end kids, then wtf kind of expectations ON the field should we have cause championships **** sure arent one of them if that’s the case lol
I like their fans that think paying a 5 star generational talent more money would fracture the locker room. As if players don’t understand that more talented players make more money. I mean, how do nfl locker rooms not implode when the stat qb makes 20 times as much as the kicker?

This is an accurate question and every university has to ask this of itself. If a school won’t help its coaches acquire the best talent how can they be expected to win at the highest level?
Its like the NBA. Guess which team has the highest payroll and is paying millions to every team in luxury tax? The Warriors.
Same in every sport in which talent can be acquired for money. The school doesn ’t have to the be the Yankees of college football, but you have to have at least Phillies money and good leadership that can identify the right talent to bring in.
The Pirates will never, ever, ever win a championship

Nice to see an honest assessment of the current landscape. It’s the old don’t hate the player hate the game saying. Moneys always been part of crooting, now just more of it is above board. Guarantee some of the big dogs are still dropping bags to avoid the IRS.
