State of CFB

Wait… so cam has 2 more years then, right?

If JC doesn’t count towards eligibility limits because there is no real path to making any money, which is what the ruling said, then Incarnate Word should also not count.

(Pause)
Not sure the ACC should count either, since we are a subdivision to the big 2

I dont know - felt like the season was pretty amazing - I think one of the best - of course my canes had a solid year and my #2 team Oregon .....we will see

I think the risk for me comes down to, do we move towards a "Big 2 conference?"
- I am not even talking about only 2 super conferences
- I am more worried that the SEC and Big 10 continue to have much bigger say than their peers
- I thought SMU getting in made me feel better
SMU ****ting the bed made sure that that’ll never happen again lol

Tbh we should go to 14 teams, top 5 highest ranked conference winners get an auto bid. But only the top 2 teams gets byes, with that model this year it would’ve been:

1. Oregon BYE (Plays 8/9 seed)
2. UGA BYE (Plays 7/10 Seed)
3. Texas vs 14. Clemson
4. Penn state Vs 13. Miami
5. Notre Dame Vs 12. Arizona state
6. Ohio state Vs 11. Alabama
7. Tennessee Vs 10. SMU
8. Indiana Vs 9. Boise state

CFB should just go into a “Net rating” system like CBB now that playoffs have been expanded. Top 25 wins are way too outdated now
