If thats the case you dont let Singleton leave town without signing, or KC Conc because you need electric playmakers to offset the statue at QB.
We lost like 3,000 yards of production at WR.
We can survive without Horton. He got more money so there’s that but I don’t worry about WR as much. If this is who we’ve got at QB, I’m rooting for nickel. We need a guy who can move in a bad way. Like I said, they need to be putting the money into starting CBs and more on defense.
I have no idea who he’s talking to for coaching additions but if Guidry is going, Mario should have brought the new guy on immediately. This will be his 3rd DC in 4 years.
Imagine if Mario brought in Schiano and they were game planning together…That was my point![]()
If we’re rolling with Emory we need to find a way to bring Horton and Martinez back.
Why pay a singleton or conception, just use that money for Horton. He’s WR1..
I’d be good with the 3 headed monster at RB running it back next year with Emory..different offense for sure
We might be trying to win games like Georgia Tech did this year. We’re strong on oline and RB. Pound teams into oblivion, shorten the game, and try to do enough in the passing game to keep defenses honest. Not flashy, but at this point it’s looking like our passing game is gonna take a major step back next year.
Singleton wants 1 million dollars.Only problem is those guys aren't signing with us if its an unproven QB going to be our starter. If Emory our QB you guys better look at tier C and D WRs to add to our young core. The top guys are going to get paid and go to a place with a stable QB

Still willing to bet he's not the starting QB vs ND.
What if they played Star Trek chess?lol thats so impressive LMAO oh that's great
Not sure who may enter the portal after the playoffs, but not sure there’s anyone we’ll throw millions at.
With emory it’s a different looking offense. More balanced. More running. But we have the oline and rbs to do it. We’ll win but win not relying on a superstar at qb to be the focus of the offense and be the star.
the problem is we better have a much more solid defense to go with it or it won't matter. Right now our D is a serious issue that has yet to be addressed. I am not sure we can just fix everything in the portal. Not sure who may enter the portal after the playoffs, but not sure there’s anyone we’ll throw millions at.

It’s hard to see, but this team is light years ahead of where it was 3 years ago relative to its competition, which is all that counts. Long way to go before we know what this team fully looks like and we still need to add some huge pieces to that abysmal defense. Also, Emory may not end being the starting QB or any good if he is, but his arm is strong enough and he’s a pretty good athlete. Noodle arm and statue don’t apply IMO.
