Because Horton not worth that moneyIf we’re rolling with Emory we need to find a way to bring Horton and Martinez back.
Why pay a singleton or conception, just use that money for Horton. He’s WR1..
I’d be good with the 3 headed monster at RB running it back next year with Emory..different offense for sure
True cane true. But you can only develop someone so much if the talent isn’t there.Emory is a true cane. How long does Mario think he can keep his QB’s benched for portal talent. Arent the young QB’s getting developed? Do we posses the capability’s?
Couldn’t agree more and that’s on evaluating talent. Mario should know by now if a recruit could play and develop at that level.True cane true. But you can only develop someone so much if the talent isn’t there.
Do we fans never learn? Marino brought us Dan Marino passing records. Never a Championship. Every year he played for the Dolphins the defense sucked worse and worse. Cam brought us Cam Ward records and each game our defense was worse and worse until the end. No Natty. I guess I just think that balance on a team matters. The 1972 Dolphins were the perfect team right? They didn't have the stud QB, but they had three stud RBs in Morris, Czonka and Kiick. They had superior guys on the O line like we have now. They had a stud defense who could stop the run. They had Warfield to stretch the defense. They had Mandich and I think Briscoe to be possession guys. Michigan won a Natty using this formula. Just opening this for debate but exactly how from that are we given the current roster of the team? We need the run stoppers but I think this roster could be better if we added the talent on key defensive positions and didn't try to be an offense that killed the defense on time of possessions. As usual I will wait for all the normal face palms I get from the posts.
I was around as a young kid for those days. Griese was such a smart qb. Like off the charts QB football IQ.You're wrong Bob Griese was a stud QB. He was a College All-American, 2x first team NFL All Pro, 6x Pro Bowler, 1977 NFL TD passing leader, 1978 NFL Completion leader and early in his career the preeminent scrambler in the NFL.
I wasn’t born until a few years after but I’m Pretty sure they also had a guy on the sidelines who didn’t drool while dragging his knuckles.I was around as a young kid for those days. Griese was such a smart qb. Like off the charts QB football IQ.
He can’t work harder, only smarter.. never mind that ain’t happeningImagine how much harder mario would have to work to be excel at his role.
Trust me, no one will mistake this guy…I wasn’t born until a few years after but I’m Pretty sure they also had a guy on the sidelines who didn’t drool while dragging his knuckles.
In fairness, there’s quite a few captain save a hoes on here that might….
We can survive without Horton. He got more money so there’s that but I don’t worry about WR as much. If this is who we’ve got at QB, I’m rooting for nickel. We need a guy who can move in a bad way. Like I said, they need to be putting the money into starting CBs and more on defense. My concern with Emory is he looked like he had cinder block shows last year. Slow as can be.
Horton im over. Kid didn’t even know how to catch the ball without bobbling or run a route until this year. He worked hard and staff developed him and he pulled his little extortion attempt. Good bye.
