If Coley is brought here, Diaz is settling. Complete and utter *****.
I took it as, if Coley is the guy we missed on a number of other targets.

Coley would clean up in recruiting but I'm not sold on him as a play caller.
Diaz looking at Seider contradicts the theory the OC brings his own staff, doesn’t it?

The press conference is to introduce diaz as hc. Nobody introduces a coordinator at a conference.****, I thought we were going to hear Fedora announced at a 10am presser today. Waiting until the end of the week will feel like an eternity.

Thats just people talking out their ***. No hc is letting the coordinator hire an entire staff.Diaz looking at Seider contradicts the theory the OC brings his own staff, doesn’t it?
When has this ever happened at any hc introduction? And who says he can’t say he’s added to his staff while he gets introduced?
It literally took me 2 seconds on Google to find an example of a school introducing an OC at a press conference. The press conference is to introduce diaz as hc. Nobody introduces a coordinator at a conference.
Coley was mediocre at Miami without bags.
You also have to look at the product he was selling as well. As a QB coach, I think it would be a good fit. He can have whatever title he needs, to justify the salary. Same with Seider. They need elite recruiters as position coaches. The coordinators, I'm more concerned about X's and O's. If they can recruit, then great, but the schemes mean more than the recruiting to me with them.
