Staff can't win or recruit

I find it interesting how posters here can talk **** about every aspect of this program, yet they in turn expect the world when it's crootin time. If you take our current class and compare it to what you say about the state of the program, we're killing it.

Problem is this. You all think we're a destination school, we aren't. We had a moment and we're right back where we've always been in the college football landscape. Could it change, sure, but many of your expectations and perception of reality are warped. That doesn't mean you need to be content with things, but it won't happen overnight if it ever does again.
I think most of the frustration is watching staph after staph be the ones who don’t get your point, and chase kids from far away over good local options, only to act surprised when they get left at the alter, over and over and over.

Why don't yall wait until after signing day in Feb to see how it ALL play out??
We have arguably the worst OL in college football. We have 2 commits, one of which is a project. Without a good OL it won’t matter how many 5* we sign at other positions. That ranking is smoke and mirrors. If we don’t get 3-4 more good OL, I can tell you exactly how this will turn out.

There are many non-destination schools that have done very well for themselves the last 15 years while UM has been miserable. Baylor, Iowa State, Utah, Washington for example.

Being ranked where they are, considering the season, is an accomplishment as it goes for overall recruiting rankings but they kill it by not filling OL and CB needs. That has been severely mismanaged.
Yep and LB. those 3 spots have also been overseen by the three worst recruiters on the team rumph, Barry and manure. Smh

Can't win + Can't recruit = why do you have a job?

Answer: Blake James and BOT

What kind of board brings on a coach to learn on the job? It’s pathetic, the university was already facing an uphill battle in regards to the football program and then they do this?

Baylor and Utah both have some highs with some real lows in between. Iowa State, what? Their best seasons in 15 years were 8 wins and they only did that twice. Washington, three good years in 15, the rest gets you fired here.

Any team can have a good year or two, but to be constantly in contention for your conference is rare for all but a select overflowing handful. We might hit here and there down the road, but I don't see dominance on a consistent basis in today's college football world. Fact is, we could get lucky with a coach, but then he moves on to greener pastures. Could we follow that up, maybe, but with money out of hand we're always going to be stuck with taking a chance on someone.

Suck it up fellas these *** clowns aren’t going anywhere. We got lucky with Rooster but this dumb *** staff didn’t want Parrish. Their evals suck. They have dead weight on this coaching staff. We can’t even win the ****** *** Coastal.
