I'll give Enos credit for locking up Van Dyke early when he was still selling his BS 'Spread Coast' crap. Hickson is the best recruiter on the staff, which isn't saying much, and Stubbs did a pretty good job considering the hate he gets around these parts. Barry might be the worst OL coach in America and his recruiting reflects this. The jury is out on Field but I have a sneaking suspicion we hired another worthless former local HS coach who won't recruit worth a crap (see Rumph).

Defensively, this is an abortion of a staff. We have two OOS LB's committed in a year we have 2 of our 3 starting backers are leaving (thank god McCloud decided to redshirt). We have 1 CB committed but that's not even his natural position. We have 3 safeties committed but 2 of them may be linebackers. I'll give Stroud credit for the DL but Manny needs to cut bait with all of these guys.

If you guys think the staff at Nebraska can at the last minute get some of the best recruits in Florida on campus and get them to commit just because they’re “good recruiters” then no one we get on staff is going to make you happy. Until we get a booster base that’s wants to buy recruits we will have endless debates about who’s a good recruiter.

Close this cycle out and hope we get some significant changes but that won’t happen either

This class is indeed quite talented but it also almost definitely cements continued failures. This team might end up with the best group of running backs in the country for 2020, running behind an offensive line devoid of talent, depth, or a future.

The team has 1 true offensive tackle today and he is a freshman. Recruiting failures are costing this team any future where they get to put the talent to use.

The FIU loss was the final straw for me.

Even if we end up with a top 20 class, this team has so many holes at every possible level, from Admin to coaching staff to how the roster is built and their mental toughness, I have absolutely zero faith in this program. It’s extremely hard to care
