Sam bruce is probably the only kid to come out of that area where St.Thomas is located off 95 and davie that is actually a DIV 1 prospect. Everyone else is recruited and dosent live in that area.

Gearing up for that Bishop Gorman game I see

Where is that game at? I'm hoping it's here (in vegas).. I went to the booker t game here a few years ago.. packed house!! Gorman gets the best west coast kids money can buy lol

Hasn't been officially scheduled yet. I'm just speculating based on Gorman's qb calling on STA to call Gorman's coaches to set up a game next year. STA's T. Grimes responded via twitter. The exchange was mentioned on social media and a couple of sports media outlets. Nothing concrete, but it wouldn't surprise me if this game gets scheduled.

Maybe Robert Burns? STA had Cody Bowes transfer over from Gulliver over the summer. I'm sure they could carpool lol.

I predicted last year that Blades would eventually go to STA. It would only make sense if he wants to be on the national stage. U School just cant offer him that anymore.

I told yall when Harriott got that job...

That lil' dude is gonna take STA to heights we've never seen before. It's no longer "STA recruits itself", as Harriott and his boys will actually go get kids. (unlike the last 2 coaches)

Stuff like this should be frowned upon but instead we eat it up like vultures. Guys like Blustein promote this garbage with their yearly "waver wire" and "key transfers to watch for" nonsense. Nowadays any time a kid blows up at a public school it's already expected that he'll ultimately end up at STA or Heritage.

You can pretty much say the same about their regular student body though too. It's a private school not a geographically restrained public school. I don't get the knock on them "recruiting" when we have plenty of so called public schools down here playing games with phony addresses for kids they're actually illegally transferring in to their schools. At least the kids STA is scooping up are getting a decent education (if they want it) and are somewhat restrained there from acting like complete fools during the recruiting process. A lot of the criticism of them kinda just comes off as jealousy to me.

No knock on them at all I know it's not a public school and they can do as they please but u just found it weird how there's basically never any kids from that area getting recruited. It's like the talent level is non existent there

OT: Bowes is very interested in Richt

The RB, let's just say everyone wanted his brother really bad.

My bad, I wasn't referring to you specifically with that rant. I don't think talent is non-existent in that area but it's definitely not a hotbed if you look at the teams from the two closest public high schools- Stranahan and South Plantation. I think Stranahan has been perennially mediocre and South Plantation was decent a few years back when they had Alex Collins but I don't think they're typically anything special. I don't follow Broward high school football extremely close but I think Andre King is the last kid of major note that I can even remember coming out of Stranahan too.
