St John Bosco Troubles

They’re mad because they paid for players tuition in cash and used cash to pay for food and beverages on staff retreat

**** Bosco, and Gorman too. They think they're so bad when in reality Florida schools don't have Samoan linemen. Their skill players consistently bust in college

SJB is in so much trouble with those illicit payments that we may end up under investigation again. Why, because this is Miami

why is butch not at least an analyst to the program? I understand he’s 73 years old. However the guy can evaluate talent, if you know ball you know ball. Just bring him on as an evaluater and recruiter. Just have him in the building in some way
Still to this day I think he’s the best evaluator of talent out there. If the unc studs weren’t suspended he’s winnning

UNC was winning a national championship or at least going for it if those guys weren’t suspended. Best evaluator of talent I’ve ever seen. He even made FIU competitive for what they were and beat us. Just bring him in as an analyst or have him in the building some way. It’s a pipe dream, however I don’t understand why we didn’t and haven’t made the call to at least try and I’m sure he would be fine with it especially at his age and where he’s at. Plus I’m not ragging on Mario however I don’t think he’s a good coach excellent recruiter no doubt but that doesn’t mean s*** if you can’t coach it and I just don’t think Mario understands the game of football. At least butch could be there to tell the dude to call a timeout.

If Butch had never left us for the Browns we would’ve broke Oklahomas 47 game win streak and dominated college football for the duration of the 2000s. Larry Coker was not the guy for that job in anyway what so ever…

Greg Schiano would’ve been a much better option to take over at the time but he was young and not proven as a HC yet.

You think? No he WAS definitely the best talent evaluator. He was also a bad Game day coach. I'm not sure how old you are but I sat in the West Endzone and he would get booed running into the tunnel at halftime. Do you remember the fire butch banner flown over the OB? People always forget that part but what Butch did for the U will never be forgotten.

Mario was on his staff and he was a coach when Mario played. They have a relationship. Agree, he had a unique ability to identify and develop talent. Different day though. Much harder to find those diamonds. Still there though and here is an example. OJ Frederique and Leonard Moore, look at their body types, speed, where they went to HS and explain to me how both kids were not 5 stars? Now Moore is a little bit ahead, but not much.
