Mario has no chill whatsoever. He is subject to acquire talent at any time. I love it.
What a huge addition... And how'd this stay quiet?
Any insider know if this is a legit option / has any communication with Miami?
How many years of eligibility does he have left?
That was fast lolIt is.
Gaby said he is enrolled.Thank you! I hope so haha
Wow! Mario let your nuts hang. Good job Miami
That was fast lol
I'm done doubting that man. Never really did but Mario wants to win more then anybody he knew he had to get some dtMama there goes that man....
The Cubano is a shoota.
Got it. Thank you. I hope he is eligible this would be season changing addition.Yeah, he's been around campus all week, so I was hearing some rumblings. It's why I circled TODAY'S DATE on an earlier post, that today is the last day to enroll.
I am not certain about the issue of "financial aid withdrawn" at Alabama, and how that might impact his eligibility. I was hoping that his ENROLLMENT might clear up the question of whether he enrolled as an UNDERGRAD or a GRADUATE, but I have not yet seen confirmation on that.
Hopefully he can suit up for us this fall, but even if he can’t, this is still good for 2024. We need some veteran bodies in there in addition to Moten/Horton and he probably starts for us in 2024 and create a big competition between the aforementioned two.
He was enrolled at Alabama for 2020, 2021, and 2022 football seasons, and 2020 was the COVID year. So...he's played two that count.
The issue is he entered the portal after the eligibility period ended so he would need a waiver to play this season. If he's enrolled in classes and is on the roster, I'd think he can play. Unless I'm missing something? Never transferred previously.
He enrolled in 2020His bio on the Bama website says he redshirted in 2021. So I would think he's a 4th year sophomore right now. Should have 3 years of eligibility.
Have heard there are loopholes for a "dismissal" that are more easily waivered by the NCAA that lets say "my mom is sick and I'm transferring for the 3rd time"The issue is he entered the portal after the eligibility period ended so he would need a waiver to play this season.
After entering the transfer portal in June, InsideTheU learned that former Alabama defensive tackle Jamil Burroughs is enrolled at Miami and has been practicing with the team this week. The 6-foot-3, 309-pounder played 161 snaps for the Crimson Tide last fall and generated 14 pressures and ten quarterback pressures. Burroughs played in 11 games.
