Spring Preview: Quarterback

Not matter who wins Depth at QB is as good as it's been in a long while.

I think it's more promising but we don't know how good the depth is... We have quantity but the quality is still a question mark... Kaaya is very promising but it's going to take him some time and no one knows what's up with Olsen... The spring will answer a lot of questions...

I think the early season schedule favors the senior QB over the RS-freshman. We open on the road at Louisville then go @ Nebraska 2 weeks later. If the competition is relatively close then I think Williams will be named starter. If Williams struggles against Louisville and Nebraska then I think we'll see Olson.

That said, if Olson clearly outplays Williams in the spring and summer then I think he'll be named the starter, but I think a relative tie goes to Williams.

By that time the season will be lost.

"Crow is a very bright player...".

Now 247 is just getting lazy. This was obviously copy and pasted from a high school scouting report prior to Silver Pigeon's senior season.

unless we reel off 8 in a row and get to the ACC title game.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the qb who gives us the best chance to win will start.

Golden showed loyalty to a hobbled Morris, but the senior loyalty days are over.
The best qb will get the nod, not the one who has been here the longest.

The way it should be.

Ideally 2 years of Olsen followed by 2 years of Kaaya followed by 2 years of Gibson.
