Spring Spring PractiSe 11 -Thursday, April 3rd

Sounds like Nickel is starting to settle in a bit. Had his best day so far according to Lake.
That beeping sound is Lake walking his QB on roster take back.

Also C.J. Daniels is a good #2 WR option for a playoff caliber team.

He was 2nd team All Conference USA with over 1,000 yards and 10 TDs.

He had 8 catches for 79 yards against Oregon in Fiesta Bowl.

Of the 3 he is our only hope, but spring practice year 1 won't give any indications one way or the other. Any journalist drawing conclusions that early isn't a serious source.
Yea, I questioned what he was even try to do by making a statement like that so soon.

This is an unacceptable opinion, I demand you to give your final verdict about this football team THIS ******* INSTANT

Appreciate Lake’s sharing his opinion, but he’s obviously not qualified to evaluate QB play. Not part of his job description.
I didn't hear the comment and didn't listen to the podcast but someone that did told me he had a caveat with the statement that said it was still too early to tell on Nickel. If true, cut him some slack because he was probably just talking about Emory/Judd and plans for the portal next year to replace Beck.

LMFAO, we got Lofton is the best football player on the team and Nickle can't cut it here all in 3 weeks.
Wait till fall, I'm sure the first day back throwing for Beck will be fun to read. We have dozens of the best QBs on here . Uncle Rico would be proud

This is a great argument for viewing privileges. Now that players are getting paid doctor money thanks in great part to fans, I wonder if transparency will, in turn, increase also. As long as the Fall product is nice I am content though.
It's not the players that don't want practice open to the public, it is the coaches. The fact that the players are getting paid is not going to change anything from the coaches perspective about whether practices should be open or not. ****, a lot of coaches are pushing to not even have spring games b/c they don't want other teams to see their players.
