Spring Practice 3/20 - Early Portion Notes

That throw is tough to make. If you're a left handed thrower it would be easier but none of our QBs are. They essentially have to flip there hips so there left foot is in front while rolling out, and throw across their body. **** is not easy.
Yep. Perry hit his man but all but came to a full stop and set his feet. That would likely lead to a sack in a live situation.

Dude that’s a basic throw, it’s a 5-7 yard route. That’s a route that our hs qbs hit with regularity. It’s practiced to nauseam. It’s just pa/roll out , any qb has practiced this thousands of time.

If you notice the other guys completed it.

He’s a rs sr, you should be **** near perfect against air, especially on short intermediate throws.

This guy is just inaccurate , it is what it is at this point. He missed layups multiple times a game , no matter how simple.

It's not so much that he didn't make the throw. It's how he looked doing it (very sloppy, poor mechanics) vs the other guys. Like someone said, he is RS Senior.

Worst thing I've heard so far is that WR group that got first snaps, and the OL. ******* Darrell Langham, Dayall Harris, Jahair Jones, and George Brown. Literally they all are not good. We must have a lot of guys out for that to be happening. I don't expect that to last till summer.

Rosier looking just as bad as always. Definitely don't want Rosier this yr. I have a feeling Richt is gunna go with him to start week 1 VS LSU cause he's the only one with experience, then we may start Perry from then on. That way Perry doesn't start out with a big game, he could start with 3 easy ones...and also get Weldon a bunch of PT during those as well. It would be an interesting strategy.

Another giant L for Kiana, Kendall and the rest of the Bodyshaping cumbag crew who claimed Wilder didn’t have “the frame” to size up to play LB at this level. Next time you see some **** clump pontificating on a young kid’s frame please punch them directly in the ****.

Those might be the guys who did best in mat drills. No reason for distress.

Yeah true.
But man I really don't want Dayall Harris (or langham) getting much pt. The 2 olineman I'm pretty confident will get beat out. But at wr, we have so many guys more talented than those two. But I feel like this staff really like Harris for some reason, which I just don't get

None of the other qbs look like they had a problem making the throw...come on, whats the next excuse

Yeah true.

Cause he's a **** of blocker. Make no mistake about it, if those talented WRs don't block, they won't see the field. They seriously put a premium on Blocking on the edges, and it showed last year. I'm good with that approach.

Harris is an OK WR. He’s not a game-breaker, but he has a knack for getting open and catching the ball. He can give us some value this year.

Good catching the bubble screen as well
EVERY WR should be able to catch a **** bubble screen. Like seriously.

If It were me Harris wouldn't be in over Ahmmon, Cager, Thomas, Deejay (I think he's gunna play some WR), Harley, Hightower, or Pope.
like seriously He and Langham are our least talented WRs... Now I think Ahmmon, Cager, and Thomas are likely going to be our starting WRs. But I don't think he brings anything to the table I wouldn't rather have Deejay or Harley perform. He's a senior, so maybe I could see him getting preferance over the Freshman if they don't perform. But we know what we have with the other 5 I listed, and they're alll better.

Year 3 is when you start to see the benefit of a quality strength program. Looks like all the guys that look impressive physically are true EE freshmen. What’s going on with the upperclassmen? Some of the guys look like dough boys.

Regarding QBS— I don’t expect them to be hitting 100% in the first practice. Let’s wait a few days to judge.

Thing of concern is definitely the TE room. Looks like Jordan will be the starter day 1.
