I would not expect a lot of commits. Mario seems like he does not encourage early and/or impetuous commits. Seems like with Mario we will fill the classes later and have far fewer de-commits. The kids that commit to Mario will do so because they are convinced UM is the right place to be. I don’t see many more “UM as a place holder” type commits.
I also think Mario is a lot more confident in his ability to evaluate and recruit and lacks the insecurity of some recent coaches. This guy is hard working and low-key chilled out at the same time. Feels a little like Jimmy Johnson in that regard.

100+ top recruits can't be true. Not even UGA, who just won the **** chip, will have that many. 40-60 is more realistic. Still a great turnout for the spring game.
I hope the place is electric and shines a really bright light on our program.

I know class 2 is typically the Goldilocks class. And there’s no denying Mario is crushing it with the 2023 recruits so far. But looking at that 2024 list and considering how it took so long assembling our rock star staff, I’m thinking 2024 will be even better.
