Spring Battles Offense

Passing game will be light years better with Williams at QB. Morris was dumb as ****

I don't know if it's just me or not, but I rather see Sandland than Walford. Walford showed some unsure hands this yr, bobbling a lot of soft passes his way, which caused him to lose forward momentum or simply drop the ball. Sandland reminds me a lot of Shockey. He's big, and really phyiscal. He was very hard to bring down when he had his chances even when we played FSU. Morris was just so enamored with Walford, but I think a change in QB can help Sandland.

I really like Scott. Hopefully whatever problems he had last year off the field that seemed to have him in the doghouse are behind him. He brings a dimension to our WR core that I don't think anybody has other than Coley. He can make a play on the ball while it's in the air.

Hopefully somebody can step up at RT so we don't have to put Feliciano out there. He can play it, but he's better suited inside than outside.

Isidora seems like an obvious starter. Who would beat him out?

The offensive backfield (RB and FB)

With 2 of our RB's hurt and out for spring, RB will definitely be a battle.

Dallas, who needs to show more burst and improve his blocking, versus The Bus, who needs to mature as a college RB. We can't afford any more injuries here.

We'll need a new FB too. Walter Tucker, next man up.

Bunche leaving will make an impact. I think they're going to feel most comfortable with Feliciano out there. Hopefully, someone can step up, but in the end I suspect Feliciano will get the strongest look at RT. Gadbois and another may be able to change that, I hope, because Feliciano is a potential NFL player at G.

Agreed. Really wanna see Feliciano stay at guard if possible

is feliciano a better pro prospect than b linder?

Is there anyone there to push Shane?

Not right now since: 1) Wheeler is gone, 2) the projected back-ups are Knighton and N. Linder (who may RS), and 3) Al loves playing seniors.

I think Gall might be the best candidate to challenge (even though his natural position is guard). He did play some center last year when Shane got hurt and Wheeler was named starter.
