Spivey projecting with extreme confidence Donaldson flip

I don't care who is aware of any visits. Visits=open to flip. You're free not to put a drop of stock into him being publicly lukewarm about UM and visiting instate rivals.

The William H. Macy character in Boogie Nights was aware that the Nina Hartley character (his wife) was fcking everyone in town. His awareness didn't stop it him from eventually killing her and blowing his own brains all over the wall.

Dj johnson is visiting uw today. So he is about to flip too.

Doesn't mean he is about to flip.
But it does mean the opportunity that he could fall in love with the place exist.
That's what happens when you are still taking visits...it creates opportunities for minds to be changed.

Don't waste your time. These nincompoops think that just because a guy isn't on Twitter crying about a lack of love shown that it's impossible he could flip.

They act like these dudes are taking visits just for the **** of it. None of them have any interest in any of the places they're visiting.

The same guys that blow these commit visits off are giggling with excitement when top talent committed elsewhere uses an official to visit us. Especially when one of our "insiders" acts like there is reason to get excited about the visit. The only commitments I'm ever comfortable with are the kids like Duke's and Shaq, where the kids integrity and level of commitment and love of the program are out in the open for the world to see. It's fair to say we haven't seen that level of security in Donaldson's pledge.
Smart dudes are never comfortable. Imbeciles take solace in the serenity of their empty thoughts.

Too many vultures out their looking to entice impressionable 17 year olds with bags of money and slick promises. Some of these coaches get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars almost solely for their ability to coerce kids into signing with their school.

These guys are slick talking snake oil salesmen paid like captains of industry to deliver kids. You're goddam right you should be uneasy when these roosters get in our hen house. They're coming in to fck, and our recruits are unlatching the door on the coup when they agree to take these visits.

^No doubt, not to mention that we all know there are friends & family programs at these sleazy programs, especially SEC. Suddenly a recruit's mother, brother, "uncle", start pushing him in a different direction and everyone wonders why. Every kid who is taking trips has left the door open at least a crack, even those who are doing it for the fun and experience.

I used to think miami was the easiest job but i turned....its the hardest job in the country. U have the monsters of recruiting down in sfla and there success in sfla means we stay a ****** program.

At some point you have to win with you got. Recruit elsewhere. Getter better at evaluating talent. No excuses

You gotta win to recruit, you gotta recruit to win. Catch 22 and it's gonna be tough to flip that script. I have a feeling that if we can just pull a few wins out of our *** in the next few years and have a 11 win season it will pay dividends on the recruiting trail. Once we get that first big season and follow it up with a big recruiting class we'll get on a roll and it'll be a tough machine to stop.

But something has to give one way or the other. We'll have to win with less or recruiting with an average record. Richt was supposed to have that year 1 recruiting hype and it just hasn't happened and we were hearing 10 wins and ACC championship appearance and it didn't happen. Looks like we're stuck with having to win with less to jump start this thing

We might need a couple transcendent players like FSU got with Jameis and Cuck. Jizzbo isn't Knute Rockne, but two Heisman players on the same team put him over the top from a 10-3 guy to a NC.

Maybe Rick will hit a homerun or two like that and put us back on the map.

We might have that, but I think those dudes are on defense. I think if we recruit DBs a bit better, we will be there faster then the offense. Offensively we are hurting at just about every position. Defense we actually have a decent foundation

How are we hurting at almost every psosition on offense? We have an all-American in Richards. We have multiple high school All-Americans Mullins, Allison, Cager who are young and could be beast once they get a chance to develop and play. Also Homer was a 4 star along with a few others. There is talent on this roster it's just the depth that we lack right now.

Yep. Had Brad lived up to the heisman candidate hype this year we'd probably be 11-1 when it's all said and done. I'd like to hold out hope that he lives up to it next year, not likely but possible. Then maybe Walton takes that next step. He took a step from last year to this year, now he's gotta be the guy that can take over in a big game and bust those runs. Not just vs Pitt and UVA. Then pair that with Richards and we might be onto something.

He's referring to depth on the o-line and in general. Allison albeit a great high school prospect needed a RS year to put on weight and some question if he'd even be ready next year to take snaps; same will be said of Perry as he needs to put on weight.

We have Richards, but Mullins can't even sniff the field with 2 games left in the season. We also lose Coley and Berrios has been average at best. And do you want to talk about the O-line? We need depth, and at a lot of positions.

RB is the only position that we have depth at, but we don't have a truly elite RB thus far.

Also I'll add-

The guys on defense are producing and most will be back. The entire seven is back and several have proven themselves already and that includes sophomores and juniors.

Offense is lacking. Just say Brad leaves.. we don't know what we have behind him. We have no stud back on the roster. Richards is the only proven commodity out of the WRs. Guys point at Mullins, Cager, Drywall.. but they haven't done anything. At TE we have some depth but Njoku is very inconsistent. And I'm not even gonna talk about the OL bc they are atrocious and the back ups are d2 talents.

You don't win championships in today's football without a really effective offense. The game has changed so much since the days of dominant defenses carrying teams to championships.

When I talk "transcendent players" I'm not talking Kaaya or Walton. Those guys can be good, but they're not guys who carry teams to championships like Winston and Cuck. Rick has proven to us that he's going to need a couple guys like that just like jizzbo did.

Donaldson article after visit to UF:

Miami offensive tackle commit Navaughn Donaldson took an official visit to Florida this past weekend. What was the Miami (Fla.) Central star’s best part of the trip?

“Getting a better feel for the place, and hanging with the players,” Donaldson answered.

Florida offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier and area recruiter Randy Shannon expressed their lack of numbers at offensive tackle and the chance to play early to the 6-foot-5, 330-pound Donaldson.

“They need me, and would love to have me.”

What opened Donaldson’s eyes the most about the Gators?

“How the players like it there and how cool the coaches are,” Donaldson admitted.

Donaldson will next visit Florida State on November 25. On December 2, he will take a visit to North Carolina before capping off his visits with a stop by Miami on December 9. He still contends he is firm to the Hurricanes, but Florida has joined the Seminoles for a tie at No. 2.

The 247Sports Composite ranks Donaldson as the nation’s No. 12 offensive tackle and the No. 71 overall prospect in the 2017 class.

I agree fundamentally with The Franchise that if you are visiting you are at least open to flipping. I know there are some kids that will visit to recruit for their team. The good staffs will send their asses home. If I am a TB on my official and anyone there is recruiting for another school I'm letting a staff member know very discreetly. Can't handle myself or I'm a thug these days!! The point is, these staffs many of them are very solid. They know Donaldson is solid to Miami. They also know he is an impressionable kid just like every other impressionable kid. Those kids show up for a visit, and you just never know. At the moment this isn't will he flip. No, its is he open to flipping. And if you don't think he is open to flipping then I guess you do not believe we landed on the moon either.

UW247 tidbit of an update for dj Johnson sounds good for them honestly but who knows. I mean he has been solid this whole time. Regardless our dline will produce with these coaches. 1st in the nation in tfl and top 20 in sacks. We need to keep him in this class

Tyler **** looked rock solid to us too. Then he was gone. This recruiting stuff can shock the **** out of you if you're a trusting soul.
