South Florida '25 - The WRs

Besides Toney & Moore (who I love)

I really wanted Mills & I wish the staff reached out to Browder and Hoffmann. Reed and Kamare Williams were both UM-caliber to me as well.

I'm excited to see what Sapp, Boldin, Parham and Wallace do at the next level.

Same, felt like Beard didn’t cast a wide enough net.

@itsdolphhh
isn't toney technically a junior? or did he just reclass to his correct grade?
Junior

Parham almost went to Notre Dame. I think Notre Dane got a kid they had higher rated that cane but he was next in line.
So this year again had a pretty solid group top to bottom at wr.

@itsdolphhh we'll likely have to add a few guys between nw and signing day.

Kha'leal Sterling (5'9 165)

Miami Killian transfer. Once was a Pitt commit. Typical south florida slot wr in the mold of a Malik Rutherford, Ray Ray Joseph. Made some big plays for Miami Central. Was used on quick screens and coming out of the backfield. Western Carolina Signee,

I'll say this. If you were not a priority to beard it was VERY obvious. A few people on the list got slow played until the 11th hour.

The staff is adamant about NOT taking multiple WR's who play the same position. They dont want to pack the WR room with too many of the same skill sets/body types.

For example - Hoffman is a slot WR. You already have Joseph, Carr and Toney in that room. Hoffman isn't going to jump Carr and Toney. And he's not going to be happy sitting at 3rd on the depth chart.

The days of stacking studs and developing them while they wait their turn are over.

Even at 105 schollies, Macho?

Also, I technically could see Carr as an outside, Dorsett type, but slot is obviously likely.

I said...

Boost.
In.
Ability.

Like your girl going from you to me.
You may have more experience with her...
But I have better physical ability thus a higher ceiling.
