Wide receiver is South Florida's bread and butter. You can bet your bottom dollar that each recruiting cycle, we will have at least 3-5 national recruits at the position. Things however had taken an ominous turn for a brief moment. The 2020-2022 classes were absolutely dreadful, and it has been showing up via the NFL Draft. The 2023 class was flooded with FBS talent but they have gotten off to slow starts. In 2024, Jeremiah Smith (OSU) & Jacory Barney (Nebraska) had...

Dolphh great list. I didn't know the pool was this deep down here in WR. Never heard about the kid Browder and he wind up at a great school @Michigan.

The non-UM guys that I think can hit big are Jamar Browder and Samari Reed.

Browder has all the hoops stuff (high-pointing, big hands, height) plus short-area quickness and toughness. Reed plays with his hair on fire.

Hoffman also should have a very productive career.

Malachi Toney, American Heritage (5'10.5" 182) - Average size but a complete alpha dog on the field. The best player in South Florida as AS A SENIOR This kid dominated the best competition in America on a weekly basis

As a JUNIOR

Which makes it more impressive.

Good post, thanks.

All these guys shouldve came to UM. This is the speed we need. Jamar Browder, Naeshaun Montgomery, Samari Reed,Cameron Sapp, Branden Hoch (not the fastest but that annoying WR that whoops your ***).

Anyone got Joshua Moores senior highlights? I wanna see how fast he is.

I tried to tell people we had struggles with defensive recruiting. This offensive class is legit.

You would know better than I but I feel like the reason I like Toney as much as I do is because he plays with a chip on his shoulder.
Agree. And he's a BALL PLAYER.
I mean, look what he's doing at QB right now.
He plays bigger than he is, he's super aggressive, tough to tackle, he's like a RB after the catch. Elite route runner as well.

Not to set unrealistic expectations, but I can totally see him competing for X's position next season.

I'm actually very excited about the WR position going forward. Obviously it'll be hard to replace a guy like X, but overall the room is getting a significant boost in ability.

Moore > Horton
Jojo > George

Then you got Ny Carr, Chance Robinson and Malachi competing to replace X.

You think 2 guys with 0 college production are a boost? That certainly is a unique theory.
