I remember when he was at Stranahan. He was always talented. I don’t know about his speed but he’s baller.

Good catch, I actually wrote him up but left him off by accident. Basketball player with upside. I like him. He should probably go to JUCO or Prep to keep improving if he doesn’t get FBS offers.

Is Miami International a virtual school or do they have a football team, stadium, etc?

This is their first year.

Im guessing their kids go to the school Tunsil has and play at wherever if you get my drift.

I think the plan is to recreate sort of what he did at Champagnat which has become a small school power house

Makes sense, since Rodney went to Atlantic. He was a force of nature in high school. Back when Palm Beach County basketball was as good as anywhere in the state. Rodney turned out to be one of the best defenders I’ve ever seen in college. Very long, incredible athlete.

how does a kid from NOLA find his way to Western HS? (Went from catching passes from the top high school QB) This stuff is out of control:

Jullian Lewis is now on Miami's WR board.

Western coaches reached out to Mario. Unlike Manny, Mario reached back. He said that he likes the film, they're going to evaluate Lewis further, add him to their WR board and see how he stacks up versus everybody else they're recruiting.
And that's all you can ask for!

We really should consider him though. He's a freakin' stud and has excelled versus THE BEST competition. He went off in The Crib all star game as well.
He's a big bodied WR with a great frame. He can easily be 6'2" 215lbs and he's a jump-ball specialist. If it's in the air, he's coming down with it.


We don't have anybody on our roster like him right now.

Seem like a reasonable response from Mario. Dont understand why prior staff did not just get back to ppl. How hard can it be to return a call and speak for a couple minutes?
