Aside from the perennially loaded WR and DB groups, the strength of this class is pass rushers. There are so many that I had to divide them into two groups: DEs and hybrids. Below are the guys I project to play as down linemen. Of course, a lot will depend on where they sign and how they grow. But regardless of where they line up, these guys can get after the quarterback.
Kayode Oladele- 6’5, 234, 4.87* (Champagnat)- Raw specimen who learned about football by watching YouTube videos in Nigeria. When I first saw Oladele last spring, he looked like a college junior. Natural strength and powerful hands. Oladele was the only guy on the camp circuit that physically overwhelmed Delone Scaife. Transferred from Edison to Champagnat to pair with Miami commit Greg Rousseau.

Andrew Chatfield- 6’2, 221, 4.92* (American Heritage)- Broward County Defensive POY with 24.5 sacks. Alpha mentality. Knows how to use hands and long arms to keep tackles off balance. Has another gear when closing on the QB—elite finisher. He can play up but I project him with his hand in the ground. Only drawback is the lack of elite measurables.

James Head, Jr.- 6’3, 220, 4.91* (Southridge)- Teamed with Randy Charlton to form the most dominant DE duo in the state. 19 sacks as a junior. Elite change-of-direction (4.34 shuttle) at his length. Has a knack for deflecting passes like Demetrius Jackson. Some added strength will take his game to the next level.

Dante Lang- 6’5, 222 (Boca Raton)- Gifted rusher with production. Highly athletic. Excelled at TE on the 7on7 circuit. Wins with lateral quickness and movement skills. Good height. Narrow frame up top but has some lower-body size.

Demetrius Mayes, Jr.- 6’2, 225, 4.95* (Northwestern)- Tough, upright player with some athleticism. Mayes started turning heads with an MVP performance at the Rivals camp. Plays DT in high school but projects outside at the next level.

Uchenna Ezewike – 6’3, 188, 4.96* (sophomore measurables) (Stranahan)- Underrated pass rusher who put up big numbers at the small school level. Good get-off and deceptive strength. 3.68 GPA. Plays with a high motor and chases a lot of plays down from the back side. If he fills out his lanky frame, he will be a steal for somebody.

Hansky Paillant- 6’3, 220 (Miramar)- McArthur transfer who will spend his senior year on the famed Dark Side Defense. Wrestler. Plays DT in high school but projects outside. Very disruptive straight-line rusher. Recently landed offer from Charlie Strong.

Robert Hicks- 6’ 237 (Central)- Booker T. transfer who brings experience and toughness to the position. A little tight in space, which is why I project him to stay at DE despite his height. Strong with a good motor.
