Sources: Yearby to declare for draft

View as article
He's got ELITE cutting ability that can't be taught. Get paid, but don't be an idiot with your money. Taxes and agents will take a huge cut from every paycheck of his. If he makes a team, he will make more than 99% of the students graduating. Even if he makes a practice squad, he will make more than most graduates.

Miami will honor his 4 year scholarship so he can come back and graduate whenever, but not have to put in all the time at practice.

His draft stock will not improve by coming back for another year here. Why risk injury being a 2nd stringer?

All Ur quotes regarding Yearby; they said about Alfred Morris. You don't need long speed to be a successful NFL RB!!! U caint stop Gods work. This is Yearby all day.

Mike James doesn't have long speed but he's a great back because he can do it all.

Yearby right now, at best could be a 3rd down back in the NFL. Maybe not even that because he gets steamrolled on pass protection.

Morris is like 5'11" 225 Mike James is like 5'10" 225

Yearby isn't anything close to that.

Ease up on the histrionics sister.

The NFL has teams using 5, 6, 7 RBs a year due to injuries and the diversification of the position with roster allocation. I'm sure Yearby can make a roster and see carries, but success at the RB position is so team specific, predicting success is so rare, especially for mid-late round players. You can look at some attributes that translate, but it tells so little of the story. I'd guess he's a third-fourth running back type that moves up when injuries call upon him. I don't know if he'll produce, but I guess we'll see. Yearby is kind of limited and its not like he'd get bigger, faster, or do anything different to improve whatever stock he has, so, good luck, I guess.

Just stay stupid!

Mike James draft analysis weaknesses:

WEAKNESSES Not a burner, won't break off many big runs. Initial explosiveness is only average. Vision isn't great, Will miss open running lanes. Will find himself on his tippy-toes dancing in the backfield too much for a runner of his size.

Where James is weak Yearby is Elite. Like I said before you flip flop too much. If you don't think Yearby have a shot; you sure as **** didn't believe Mike James had a shot.

Just stay stupid Flipper!!!

Yearby - I caint wait!!! People forget he got 1,000 yrds behind a terrible line. And most importantly he has very low miles; no wear and tear this year is a HUGE PLUS. Oh yeah, long speed is not needed in the NFL for a RB. Realy, Realy!!!

NFL Draft WEAKNESSES - Morris doesn't have NFL speed and will need to define himself more as a runner if he wants to make enough of an impression in a camp. He has the natural ability within the tackles to be successful, but in the NFL seams and holes are harder to come by and arm tackles difficult to avoid. Morris will need to prove himself as a thumper early.

So called experts are wrong every year regarding Florida Boyz - 2 * Pro Bowler (2013, 2014)1,275 yrds & 1,074 yrds; Rookie of the year (2012) 1,613 yrds;

There is no combine stat for HEART & DETERMINATION! HTTR!

The thing is, within the next two years I will be posting another vid with Yearby blowing up the NFL just as I did with Hurns. It will have another quote from Belichick saying to another coach, "That guys a football player. Where the fug did that guy come from?"

And yawl killing me with this no degree BS. How many of yawl have degrees? Better question, how many of you all have degrees and are working in the field in which you majored? You know first hand that most jobs requiring a college degree are not paying anywhere close to what Yearby will be making as a minimum during the same first two or three years fresh out of college. Just admit the coaching staff made a bad choice between Gus and Yearby. And you would rather have him back because you are not sold on any of the other RB's. I would buy that before I would you not understanding the difference in pay. Besides he's finishing his Jr year so at the very least he shouldn't have that many credits left from completing his degree anyway so he can always go back.

Speak for yourself.. that small check gonna get eaten by kids and expenses. . You acting like he isn't gonna be at the highest tax bracket

No. I will speak for those that can't speak. You act like he'll be paying for those groceries and taxes out of your lil check!!! Payoff your own bills and quit worrying about how much will be left out of Yearby's check!!!

I wish him well. He's been a solid back here. That fumble he had late in one of the recent games probably got him in the doghouse. I think he could've been used more in the passing game this season, but I don't call the plays or have access to watch practices.

Decision been was made noticed in the bowl game he dropped weight looked quicker & faster then during the season

I will be rooting for this kid to make it maybe more then any other in recent history. Hopefully his 40 time is better then we think it is.

Yearby seems like a high 4.5 type of kid. Hope he excels in the combine. The footwork and catching drills are going to catch some teams eye. I would take him late in a draft as opposed to FA
