Was there last time. Let's see if Golden is on a better track than Shannon was. I think he is, but he has to prove it on the field.

This 2014 class may be his Shannon2008 class. Al may be ahead of schedule.

I could detour through Orlando on my way back to Dallas from Atlanta. This would make it one **** of a drive though,

I swore the last time I went there for the Wisconsin game, I would never go back to that crappy stadium; however, you go with D and the rest, I'll buy your ticket to the game.

What an awful venue... but I'll be there.

We live in Orlando and they have done a lot of work on the Citrus Bowl in the last few years. It looks a lot better from the highway (408) as you drive by. A complete rehab of the stadium is part of the who downtown package of building the new Amway Center (done), the new Performing Arts Center (opens next season) and, of course, rehab of the Citrus Bowl. I haven't been inside or even down on the block around it, so I don't know if they have done anything inside yet or not.

Where are they building that soccer stadium?

The soccer stadium will be a few blocks west and north of the Amway Center, about eight blocks east of the Citrus Bowl. About the Citrus Bowl, yes, they have replaced that awful turf that blew out Coops knee and it is astroturf now. The bad news, everything I have read online says they haven't done much rehab to the actual stadium yet.

seats were horrible, cramped up pretty bad. The stadium was in worse shape than the OB was, but I think they did some rehab on it for the other bowl games that were complaining that are out of there. Just hope it isn't cold like last time. We froze our asses off.

Well great googly moogly, I just happen to be in Orlando for a family Disney trip that day. Have to start workin' on the wife now and see if I can slip away.
