"Heard from one of the guys close to the team today that Sony Michel can be penciled in as a Dawg. He hasn't made it official, but the coaches know."

That's strange cause I heard from someone in his family he is all cane as long as we dont get the hammer from the NCAA.

its in neutral, because it wasn't from sony himself so you never know. These kids change there minds so often so we'll have to wait and see. Sony wants to prove he is the best to everyone, so if for some stupid rason we where to get further punishment from the ncaa or someone could make him think we'll get more he would/could go elsewhere

Absolutely. I'm talking more than just sheer talent here of course. Position need is important but this kid was born a Cane. It would be devastating on many fronts.

That rumor about his mom wanting him out of S FL is the thing that concerns me. Some of these parents make Coral Gables sound like Mogadishu.

The same rumors of parents wanting their kids closer to home and then they leave home is another example. Some parents can think that UM is by far the best place for the kid and he just wants out. Sony can hear his mother wanting him gone but still have his heart here at home, or just maybe that rumor isn't true.

I'm worried too man. Sucks.

I do think its a good thing for us he is announcing early but at the same time he has been getting recruited for so long I'm sure he is ready to move on.
