Sony Michel top 5

Through his facebook he listed his top five as "Miami, FSU, UF, Georgia, Notre Dame" he didnt specify if it was in that order. Like i said before, he has a good friend at gerogia and Deeb going to Notre dame. I think its Miami/Georgia a the top with Notre Dame trailing and FSU and UF coming in after

This kid can't go anywhere but Miami.

That **** would be absolutely, unacceptable.

Only a few days removed from NSD and I'm already tired of hearing about Sony lol.

I predict that by the time Michel announces his choice, miami fans will probably be indifferent as to the school he chooses.

We need a couple marquee commits like Sony, Clark and McDermott to help jump-start this recruiting cycle.

Great players want to play with other great players. I feel like having a couple guys like that would pay huge dividends for recruiting.
 
According to a recruiting beat writer for UGA:
-- It's most likely he decides in the next 6 weeks
-- Right now it's 50/50 between Miami and UGA
-- There are some people who want him out of the Miami area and away from the distractions he grew up with, while others want him close to home
-- There's a good chance he visits a UGA spring practice or spring game before making his decision.

lol, not the people wanting him out of miami speech again. i have no idea about this kids life or past, but, he goes to an expensive private school in a pretty nice area of broward county.
did he really grow up w/ bad influences in miami before coming to broward county?
this kid isn't getting away. too many positives and reasons to come to UM. immediate playing time, close to home, private school, grew up a fan.

If he chooses UGA early over Miami he will be decommiting and "exploring his opportunities" by December.

UGA will be replacing 8 starters on defense and their offense wasn't amazing even with the great RB tandem. I look for UGA to take a step back this year unless their offense takes a big leap forward.

Should UGA have a disappointing season (7-8 wins) and Miami have the season we are capable of having then I think Michel will reconsider any commitment he makes in the spring, especially if we beat UF and UGA loses to them.

Exactly. This isn't the 80s and he goes to school in Plantation. Christ.
