He did the team AND Morris no favors by playing him through injury. He should have let him fully recover and then let him back on the field. Better kind of loyalty.

Morris did not fail due to injury. He failed due to an inability to read a defense, check down, find the outlet receiver when being blitzed, and not having any touch on touch passes (the almost comical lateral that he rocketed at Dorsett full speed, low, and behind him, that resulted in a 19 yard loss being a perfect example, and something that should never happen with a senior QB).
