Something to remember about timing...

Thought it had something else in there tbh

In the last week of June, Miami picked up a series of blue-chip commits that continued through July. But before then, these were Miami’s commits:

Emory Williams (3*)
Antonio Tripp (3*)
Jackson Carver (3*)
Reid Mikeska (3*)
Bobby Washington (3*)
Frankie Tinilau (3*)
Robby Washington (4*)

All of these players were priorities- they were offered early and recruited hard. But the blue-chip priorities tend to take a little longer to commit. If you are worried about the stars in this class, take a look at the visit list for March and April. Significant progress was made with numerous top recruits. That will pay off.

Bro. You'r speaking my language. I'm been screaming it from the rooftops. At least tag me in the bibliography or something. :ROFLMAO:

I think people are just upset rivals are snagging 4 and 5 star guys while we grab the 3 stars…

Thing is, those fsu and uf commits ain’t sticking. Would you rather take a stud’s commitment only for him to leave you at the altar late November with no solid contingency plan? Might as well take the under-the-radar dogs now that want to lock up a spot in the class.

Now with that being said…yeah, we’re still missing the alphas right now. But it’s April lol. Wake me up in September.

I’ve been more mopish (or is it mopeish?) the past few weeks but that was when we were sitting here 2-3 weeks ago with literally a kicker committed. And all I was saying was, um, vamanos.

And we did with multiple commits.

But if you’re betting against Mario Cristobal in recruiting, you better have some deep *** pockets.

truth.

and after seeing just Wiliams, Carver, and the Washingtons through spring ... anyone still believe they weren't worth being made priorities?

(i think not)

and we'll say the same thing i suspect about tinilau and tripp.

The other thing, if this staff wanted and pushed for it, we would have more high profile kids committed. I agree with the approach of making sure bigger names are locked in.

Trudat! U betta say it!

The only thing Mario does well on a consistent bases is recruiting. There are alot of things we can pick apart with Mario but recruiting isn't one of them.
