That Kermit does in fact have have an FSU offer (committable) and that's looking like the spot. I had heard conflicting things about whether or not the Nole offer was committable or not, but I just got a definitive answer that they do in fact want him.

Some FSU folks (fans) will not be happy if he indeed does commit there. I have read on several message boards that they are luke warm on him especially after that video from Jimbo's camp came out. Looked very average.

I said this in another thread--but although Whitfield has elite speed, he just isn't a polished WR. It takes more than a 4.4-4.3 forty time to make you an elite WR. You have to have decent size, good hands, and good route-running ability.

Can Kermit develop all of that? Yes, but it's on him. He's got to do it if he's serious about football. If he's just a track guy playing football, then by all means--let him go to FSU. We need WR's with tools that need sharpening, not creating.

Not Peter, but I believe Al has moved on, which is good news in my opinion.

It would not surprise me if we just took AJL this year.

He didnt look good. He actually looked slow. He couldnt get any seperation from the corners.

Always thought OSU was the one to really worry about but if he really has an FSU offer it makes sense.

The writing is on the wall when you start to hear Cunningham say, "Miami is recruiting me the hardest." If Whitfield was that much coveted by Al Golden at this point, he would be saying that not Cunningham. I'd say we go all in for Coley and Cunningham.

Their coaches must not feel confident about Coley like most of their fans do.

Here is his offer
