The spring camps are helpful because you can see everyone in a standardized setting. The good ones should stand out. Here are some names that caught our attention on Sunday:

- Three-star WR Jasen Lopez (Chaminade) might be the best receiver in South Florida. He's already a polished route-runner, even though he spends half the year scoring 25 PPG on the hardwood. On the football field, he's strong, balanced, and a hands-catcher. Nobody covered him all afternoon.

@DMoney do you get a list of measurements and testing or just snippets? Like when you say Matthews has a good frame and true tackle traits, does that mean verified arm length and strength/agility testing, how they looked off the hoof, or is it based on other info?

Having a top local QB locked up is so big. Feels like this class will start taking over in the next 1-2 months. Our we recruiting Cooper at RB? or as a true athlete?

@Coach Macho do you have anything on Hermane?
My boy!
6'3"
Twitchy for a kid his size.
Needs to gain weight. (he's trying)
Just shy of 190lbs.
Bit of a tweener cause it's hard to identify what he's gonna be.
Doesn't have the speed for outside WR. Most schools that see him, love him at TE/H where he could be a severe mismatch.

I think it's pronounced Hermang. Have to check with @rsa coral gables on this one...

if i had to guess and after tapping into my knowledge of Old Middle English (yes, we had to recite poetry in OME as part of my English degree), i would say that the name is probably french and pronounced "Er Main"

now, if you are a Cuban from Hialeah or a recently arrived balsero, i tend to agree with you and it would be pronounced "Er Meng"
