Some Scrimmage Stats

Morris is an INT machine. Hope he can limit those.

He's done a great job protecting the ball so far in camp. Jacory did the same thing last August and it translated to the field. Major change from the Whipple era.

Good point on Jacory. It's about trusting the coaches. Jacory was great until he started getting the heat, then he would revert back to old mistakes. Another year with Fisch and I think he would have really had a great year.

Hopefully Morris can get the mental part down.

The senior James rushed for a team-high 137 yards on 13 carries with three touchdowns, including an impressive 51-yard burst down the sidelines, while outrunning three defenders. Johnson had 49 yards on nine carries and posted four touchdowns – three rushing and one receiving. He took a Morris screen pass 37 yards for a score, eliciting several "oohs" and "aahs" from teammates on some of his cutback moves.

Duke 3 catches, 44 yards, TD.

Lewis 3 for 42 yards.

Hurns 1 for 29 and a TD.

From Miller Degnan Tweet.

any catches from the greentree uncoverable Dorsett?

Not in the Tweets I saw.

So our best uncoverable receiver this summer had no catches...hmmmmm

One tweet said at least 15 canes caught a ball, and only 6-7 players have been attributed catches. Why don't you wait until full stats come out before adding nothing but sarcasm to the thread?

Doubt that. 15 guys had 1 or more. Just saw Thompkins had 5 catches in the other thread here and that wasn't tweeted out.

They are going to have to reinforce the field to compensate for Duke's cutback ability.

Me thinks Duke gonna make Clements the 3rd RB.

Eduardo Clements averaged 5.5 yards per carry

Duke averaged 5.4 yards per carry

- Close but I still think Eduardo is to special to keep off the field.

Hoilett with 3 swatted balls? I love seeing that from a D-Lineman, helps out the secondary so much.

yeah man that stands out. You try not to read too much into it, but that's veteran awareness right there.

Posted on another thread but f-k it:

I keep hearing nothing but good things about Dwayne Hoilett.... we might need to move Shayon over to Chicks side and give Hoilett a shot at the other end.

I like that idea...

- Chick, Shayon, and Jelani on one side.

- Hoilett, Cain, and McCord on the other.

SAME POSTS .... DIFFERENT THREAD :nelsonhaha:
