Some positives to Golden staying

ok,i got into the hype about butch but now we have to accept Golden is here. I heard he really loves miami but didnt believe it. However, if he turned down his alma mater twice, lets hope he gets it done because he wants to be here for the long term. For some reason, he is highly respected in the college football world so lets hope. Obviously, he scheduled interviews for tomorrow thinking psu story wouldnt gain traction then was forced to address.
Anyway, here are some positives.

The senior class is gone.
He recruits very well. I think he still goes after dixon and sony until signing day.
He has shown he can develop talented kids like streeter, jacory (turned him around), duke, coley, mccord, tracy, etc. I think aqm, bush, carter, grace, etc will make a huge jump.
He wants to be here.
2014 class is deep.

Negatives
he has to win big games.
Coach D needs to prove himself this year or axe him.

Coach D gets another year to prove himself? What? What does he have to do to prove he sucks? 500 yards in every game? Bang your wife?
 
i am not completely anti-coach d because i knew a kid that played for him at temple and said he likes to be aggressive on defense. i think the problem is he didnt trust the talent up front so played safe. its not like he had travonte valentine and that kind of talent up front.
 
There are none. Zero. I'm on the fence about letting this whole UM thing just walk. We had a good run.
 
He'd soften the blow big time if he fired D'onofrio. Wont happen though.

I'm honestly okay with it as long as he has staff changes! This year particularly the D-coordinator needing to get canned and bring in someone with their own philosophy so Golden sticks to special teams, recruiting, acting as CEO. Next year if no improvement on offense, the O-coordinator needs to get demoted (need to keep him on staff for recruiting IMO).

I honestly dont think coach D gets another year here... I dont think Golden will fire him... but i do think Golden has pretty much told him that he needs to start looking for another job so he doesn't have to fire him.
 
he's our coach. we have to support him right now. I am tired of losing.

Coach D blitzes with AQM, Tyriq and deon. I guarantee he plays more aggressive with better talent.
i would not be surprised if coach d magically got an interview at a MAC school but its AG defense not his.

**** your spin OP. Nothing good about Golden staying at this point. Get your head out your *** and understand he embarrassed himself and the program.

Good luck convincing recruits he is committed to the job.

There is nothing positive man. He didn't get the job at ***** State, now he comes back crawling like a little *****. Fire him
 
Al said "i am flattered but i am not a candidate" that means he pulled himself out. if he got rejected he wouldnt use that language. anyway we have a presser tomorrow. i wanted butch back but its where we are right now with who we have.
