I have always maintained that the secrecy behind these announcements had to do with recruiting. Someone tried to talk me down when i said College football news will be dead after the national title game and here we are. Graveyard shift. So with my intuition the Coordinators gets announce between tomorrow and Friday. With all those top rank players coming in you take the news cycle for the whole weekend. Have the fan base engaged on all fronts.

It's been said elsewhere that the building is full of new people. the recruiting staff has supposedly more than doubled already. Many new analysts, etc. These are not people visible to the public.

That’s an interesting strategy. Let’s just announce candle. Make an IG post, have the new fancy USC kid drum up a dope edit. Make him scream over the band that he’s not coming. Unplug the music. Just enroll his kids in school here, I’m sure Miami knows their names.

I’m drinking the Cribby Kool-Aid on TRob. Satan came calling but he didn’t take the gig. Given the autonomy he has now and as it’s been said he’s openly telling players and croots he’s coming back I don’t see how he would damage his credibility and recruiting relationships by going back on that. Secondly he’s been super active on the trail and I don’t see how Mario would leave him on the trail given how passionate he is for recruiting.

FWIW, just checked Miamihurricanes.com and all the old coaches are listed - including T-Rob and Patke - except the 3 that left - Lashlee, Likens, and Justice. None of the new coaches are listed.

stop being so shook. Mario has millions to spend on coaches. If you liked him being hired as the head coach then you have to give him the benefit of the doubt he will get this right.

Until the full staff is announced, I’m not sweating it. Positions coaches come and go. It’s about the head coach, his culture and the coordinators.

Saban is the blueprint. He loses coaches every single year and it doesn’t matter. Why? Because he has a culture and processes in place so the coaching pieces are interchangeable.
