Hiring an OC at Miami requires more security clearance than joining the Secret Service...

J.F.C just hire somebody already, it’s Football, not the NSA.

Maybe. But I for one would get very annoyed at my employer forcing me to hit the market before they finally pay me what I'm worth. I know it happens all the time. But it does add tension to the relationship and make it more transactional/mercenary.
I agree. He can’t be happy it had to come to this. Arkansas was dragging its feet and called Sexton’s bluff and they lost.

Probably gonna cost them some more because of that.

And of course McMurphy gets cucked again 😂

For those that watched much of his only season @FSU what happened? Was his offense decent there? I seem to remember fast starts then their opponents would come back in the second half.

Campanile is unique because he’s got a defensive background as a linebacker, he was a high school DC at Don Bosco and then was their OC for 2 years. Coached defense at Rutgers, Spent 3 years at Rutgers coaching TE/WR, and then got into coaching DBs at BC and Linebackers at Michigan and with the Phins.

Understanding each level of the defense and having an understanding of offense enough to be a collegiate position coach gives him a unique perspective.

Hoping it’s only in a co-DC or LB coach role but he’d be a good addition

Huge jump in production at FSU. We can only pray for that type of jump from our new OC.

statistically was much better than the season before he arrived and jumped up in most statistical categories. Obviously willie got fired 75% of the way through the season so kind of a crap shoot to tell.

FSU fans don't like him but they're dumb. Even with that QB crapshow he had there he still raised productivity, not to mention his success at houston, FAU, Baylor, and the amazing job he's done at Arkansas

What happened is his line was worse than ours under Enos. His QB was Malik Rosier level or worse.

I think it’s Candle, but I will say prepare for a bunch of negative comments from national reporters regarding Briles; especially if we don’t announce something within the next 24-48 hours. The longer we don’t hire an OC, the more they’ll spin that Briles actually turned us down.

Now we ALL know that’s fake, and all of this bs will be forgotten once the coordinator is hired…I’m just saying prepare for stupid casuals to talk down on Miami until then.

We'll all know the truth once an OC is named. If it's Candle, Dorsey, Brady, or anyone else more qualified than Briles, we'll know this was all a ploy. If it's clearly a guy we settled for, then the rejection is possibly legit. But as I've said, the timing seems fishy and too familiar to the Nunez stunt.

Anyone remember the turnaround time on the McMurphy "****show" Nunez tweet and the initial report about Radokovich?
