that's because it's not coming from Miami. the reports are coming from Brett McMurphy who we already know doesn't have Miami sources and from 247's Arkansas reporter, who doesn't have Miami sources either.

Speculation or knowledge of the situation? I'm not sure I'd pass on Briles for Candle. But that's the extent of any second guessing I'm doing with Mario. Both great candidates, happy with whomever he likes best.

That's what I'm thinking. Or another candidate. Exactly how the Nunez "pulling my name out of consideration" went down. He was told Rad was the guy and he tried to save face after all the reports he wanted it. Briles wanted the offer and when he didn't get it went to get a raise.

Dorsey still in the conversation? I was assuming it was him, given no announcement on the OC and he's still out coaching whereas everyone in college ball is wrapped up now.

Sounds like Belk to me and Mario will hire a LB coach. Just hope Belk doesn't go to ND, but there he would have Freeman looking over his shoulder.

Speculation. I'm no insider, just following the evidence. It is strangely familiar to the AD search.

And both Cribby and Ruiz are contradicting the report as well. Those guys have been more accurate on Miami stuff than McMurphy, who I think literally the day before the Rad report came out reported our AD search was a "****show, according to a source." How'd that turn out?

@TrumpyCane should be on the Twatters giving McMurphy the scorched earth treatment. I think he needs to stop trying to report on anything Miami related. Zero credibility.

Yards Per Point? I think it sucks.

Yards Per Play? I think it’s a good input, and certainly bleeds over with stats I think are more important, like success rate and explosiveness.
