Someone throw out a name that isn’t Brady briles or Dorsey
Mick Lombardi.

Patriots WR coach who is being groomed to succeed McDaniels as OC. 33 years old. Son of an NFL GM. Has worked with QB’s in the past + currently designs all the Pats’ red zone plays. All of his players rave about him.

No clue if he’d want to coach in college again - his last stint was 10 years ago - but he’d be a really solid choice.

Any of y’all listen to the Twitter spaces? We got some dumbass fans man smh.

One dude saying Joe Salave’a is trash. Another guy saying we should hire Kellen Moore as OC lmao. I think I’m officially done with those chats.
Moore will be getting a NFL HC job soon lol

If we go the NFL route for a DC I would love Patriots LB Coach Jerod Mayo or Dolphins DB Coach Gerald Alexander
Patriots scheme would be very difficult to implement in college. They adjust scheme almost weekly and requires smart players who get better as season goes along. In college you don't have time for the build up.

Wisconsin and Alabama run by a similar scheme. I'm all for a hybrid multiple defense defense. It might be difficult to run year 1 and maybe 2 but once we get the recruit's in for it then we will have one of the best schemes in college Football. A Hybrid 3-4/4-2-5 defense would be awesome with the talent of our DBs. Just imagine James Williams and Avantae Williams coming of the edge in the amiibo blitz the Dolphins used with Jevon Holland and Brandon Jones

Gave up on them when I joined one that DBC was moderating and act had real reporters speaking.

Know what you know and know what you don’t know.

Listen to what Lance has to say, he knows a whole lot more about it.

What you’re suggesting is astonishing. Implementing a defense that might take 2-3 years to fully implement? WTF?

I often think about this, because New England seems to morph their identity with such so much success that we kind of take it for granted

But you nailed it, would never work at the college level

Too big of an air raid guy for Mario. Essentially it sounds like he want to run a power spread Offense.
Help me out Z.

Who is good at running power spread?

I looked at Harrel time at USC and it actually was underwhelming. Idk why I thought there offense put out a better product. I would take him as a QB coach.

Well it would be a guy like Joe Brady. All teams considered for the CFP ran some sort of power spread. There’s other options out there but even though people don’t want to admit, if you don’t run the ball and control the clock then you’re just gimmicky and teams will beat you.
