I really dont think Mario gives 2 ***** about stringing anything out. I believe the reason we don't have coordinators announced yet is b/c they havent been finalized yet. Hopefully that is b/c Mario has lots of good potential options and is being thorough as opposed to him struggling to find good options. With the budget and contract he has, I would lean towards the former - if Manny could get Lashlee, I have no doubt that Mario could get someone of at least equal caliber.

Yeah, I would certainly agree with the points you bring up in terms of options. Obviously I wasn't trying to infer that Mario has been purposely stringing this out for the sake of being dramatic. I was just using the poker analogy to make the point that you just made in that he has plenty of elite options and because of that fact he is being very thorough in the vetting process because he wants to make sure that both coordinators are the right fit. Ultimately my point is that the drawn out nature of these coordinator hires is a good sign that we are dealing with elite level candidates considering the options and the budget Mario has. Make no mistake, both coordinator positions at UM are very desirable jobs right now everything considered. Just like Cyrus Moss was sold on Mario's vision and the elite level talent that is showing serious interest in UM so will highly coveted quality coordinator candidates on each side of the ball. This is another reason I brought up the poker analogy. We as fans have been so conditioned into expecting the mediocre that we still instinctively cling to these nightmare scenarios like Ponce at OC and Hurtt at DC. Put everything together and you soon realize that Mario must be sitting on at the very least on a Full House in terms of the OC and DC hires. I'm thinking a Straight Flush.

John Ruiz is going to issue us all a stimulus/ppp type of disbursement for all of the lost economic productivity that being a Canes fan has caused just from the moment Fake James was fired until now alone.

We all will just have to make 3 speeches at a local recruit's high school about the dangers of drugs/alcohol and spending too much time on college football messageboards. We may be asked to drop a bag or two at said high school but that's on a need-to-know basis.
