Much respect to your take, which I have followed and generally found to be awesome.

And just to get out in front of it, I'm primarily a Canes fan/season ticket guy, daughter goes to the U, so I'd love it if we got him...even though I'd be bummed to see Arkansas lose him. I was just wondering if we have reason to believe he's proactively interested or responsive, or whether he wants to stay hitched to the Pittman train for another season or so. Something to be said for being a hometown hero in a small state with overall great fans.

But yeah - rural Arkansas has its charms, as a kid stomping around through the woods and swimming in creeks and stuff. Not so much once you grow up, though. Thanks for replying.

Plus he's losing a huge talent in Burks. I'm growing to want Briles more with the more tape I'm watching. What he has done in Arkansas is seriously impressive. Joe Brady is obviously good from a passing point but he did struggle to get the run game going at all with the panthers. I would love either so as long as we hire 1 of the 3 including KD I'm here for it

No way Dorsey comes back for a QB coaching role .. for him it would have to be OC period.

Andy Ludwig would be a great hire, just don’t see him leaving Utah for Coral Gables.

I wont even bring up what he did at FSU as the OC. I think we can all agree that was a failed tenure...

Arkansas went 8-4 this year.. He scored 20 points when he faced TAMU who has a legit defense. He scored ZERO points against UGA. ZERO!! ZERO!!! He scored 16 points against LSU and 23 points against Auburn. Yes, he scored 35 points against Bama..But if you watched that game, the last 14 points were in garbage time in the 4th quarter. Game was already decided.

Are you guys trying to win the natty at some point are yall just cool with beating the teams in Acc Coastal?

(Btw, that 450 yards a game offense? ZERO POINTS AGAINST UGA!!!)

Problem is Herman isn't going to work for free. He is receiving buyout money from Texas .. and with the offset clause .. any salary he earns from another coaching job is reduced from his Texas paycheck. That's why he is working as a TV analyst .. no impact on his buyout money from Texas.
