Arkansas went 8-4 this year.. He scored 20 points when he faced TAMU who has a legit defense. He scored ZERO points against UGA. ZERO!! ZERO!!! He scored 16 points against LSU and 23 points against Auburn. Yes, he scored 35 points against Bama..But if you watched that game, the last 14 points were in garbage time in the 4th quarter. Game was already decided.

Are you guys trying to win the natty at some point are yall just cool with beating the teams in Acc Coastal?

(Btw, that 450 yards a game offense? ZERO POINTS AGAINST UGA!!!)

Doesnt that remind you of what Lashlee does when he faces REAL teams? (Clemson every time we played them, Bama, UNC in 2020)

Why do we want another Lashlee? I thought we were swinging for the fences??

I posed this question..why do we want another Lashlee? Dont want to get over the hump and start to beat REAL teams? Yeah, Briles will get us the ACC Coastal but as soon as we run into a real defense..it will be more of the same. And I thought we were swinging for the fences with this 4M coordinator budget and yall want to spend it on Kendal Briles? Ummmmm..Okay.

Because Lashlee was good, maybe thats why?

Briles has a top offense in the SEC and you complain about him? Wtf is wrong with this fanbase, holy ****...

The problem with the fanbase is that some of us were old enough to remember when we actually competed for national titles. I am one of those people. Some of the new posters have no recollection of the 80s and early 90s. They just watched "The U" series and just piggy backed off that.

Yeah he had the top offense in the SEC..and that got him...nothing. Arkansas finished tied for 3rd in the SEC West at 4-4.

Are we in the business of trying to win the national title or are yall just cool with winning the ACC coastal and maybe winning the ACC title from time to time? Nobody seems to want to answer this question. Maybe its because you know the answer..Kendal Briles offense has not been proven to win a national title. And at 8M a year with a HUGE staffing budget...Mario at some point is going to have to deliver one of those. If you think Kendall can do it? Fine. Thats your opinoin. I disagree.

Idk I ask Saban. Or Kiffin, cause Briles put the hat on his defense with a QB who is nowhere near Van Dyke in terms of ability.

And before anyone comes up with "Ole Miss defense isnt that good", they are 35th in DFEI, which is the most advanced metric for a college defense. Thats above average by some margin.

You seem to have some sort of cognitive dissonance.

Do you actually believe you can scheme up offense against defenses that have much better defensive players than you have offensive players for free?

Is that what you're trying to tell us?

Did you watch the Bama vs Arky game or did you just look at the score? That game was over in the 4th and Bama slept walked knowing Arky couldnt beat them. I know this because Bama lost the spread late fooling around and it ****ed me off.

It got him nowhere? Arkansas finished above .500 for the first time in five years. They won a combined seven games in the three years prior.

And I am not even going to say anything about that first paragraph cause thats a wild wild stretch by any measurements. I could use lightyears and even those lightyears would need to check on their hamstrings after that stretch.

Briles offense did a whole lot with a team who lacked talent to compete in one of the hardest divisions in College Football, maybe the hardest. No one in that program expected that season.

But since you want to win national titles, PLEASE name your candidate.

Dude it was a 10-point game with ten minutes left in the third quarter and a six point game to start the 4th. Unsure what kind of game you watched.
