Not sure why so much love for Briles and that gimmick offense he runs. Manny destroyed that guy head to head in 2019. And anytime Briles faces a real defense or DC he has issues. We would have to strike out on a few OC options for me to settle on him.
his offense is averaging 450 yards a game. y'all dudes will say anything lmao.

If Brady is asking for too much, then you move on to Briles and make him say no.

If he says no, you make Dorsey an offer he can't refuse and make him say no as well.

This is a good problem to have, though. 2 top notch guys with the potential to transform our offense and a QB whisperer who's a Cane with all the potential in the world.

One guy I've been singing praises about (besides David Yost) that I'd wish we would take a flyer on is Chiefs QBC Mike Kafka. Kid is smart.
I mean supposedly briles has interest so he probably wouldn’t say no

They aren’t Air Raid. But Bama is a pass first team.

And neither can run on good teams. ****, Bama struggles running on bad teams this year.

It’s simply not true that at some point you have to be able to run the football. Bama hasn’t reached that point this season. And if they didn’t reach it against UGA, they aren’t going to reach it.
They may not reach it but that oline didn’t let uga sniff their QB. That’s also physical as ****.

Let’s leave Mrs. Cristobal off this board. She is a saint.

Briles is familiar with the state of Florida

Fayetteville offers only so much

He'll never have a chance for a Natty at Arky

The state of Arkansas and Arky won't get the athletes to consistently compete for an SEC Championship, let alone win the SEC West.

Miami offers alot more of everything, including $$$

Him and Lebby run the same offense. Both learned from art at baylor

Brady ain't the only OC with a playbook.

If he's asking for something like total play calling autonomy, and it's something Mario isn't comfortable with giving him, then move tf on. It'll never work.
He doesn’t have the cache to be making those kinds of demands IMO. He had one great year at LSU and didn’t have autonomy with play calling.

It's not gimmicky at all. It's actually a simple offense. By the way, he put up 35 points on Bama this year, and they had a real defense.

There’s plenty of coaches in the nfl and college that go from qb coach to calling the plays. You have to start somewhere and he pretty much ran the show as a player. I think he can handle it. I’m ok with Brady , Briles or Ken.
This guy went from NFL QB coach to NFL head coach :ROFLMAO:

I like Brady > Briles but by the slightest of margins. However, I agree with the others who say go get Briles now before somebody else does.

If Brady wants complete control of the offense, Mario is not going to do that and I am not sure Brady has "earned" that either given his resume. Would any manager grant a subordinate complete control over half his P&L? Also, Mario and Mirabal have an ironclad relationship. I am sure Mirabal has input and "some" influence over the offense.

All of the coaches need to be on the same page otherwise you end up with an offense that looks like a Manny Diaz coached defense (where coaches want to play press and cornerbacks frequently bail, etc.).

Maybe it has to do with Brady wanting to pick other coaches but Mario has already agreed to terms with Mirabal, McClendon and Mastro...not sure.

If thats our top three and we end with one of them the offense is taken care of. I like Brady but if he wants to play games just move on to the the others. He is not head and shoulders better.
