I think the reservation by some including myself on KD is that we don't what offensive system that is associated with him. What is his offense going to look like...is it wide open? Are we going back to two WR's and a fullback pro bro offense?Between playing QB at Miami, coaching QB's and offense in the NFL, and being on the headset for nearly every play on every staff he's never worked on, as well as working on the game-plans, calling play in practice, working on play-calling with mentors and on his own, and calling plays in his head during the game, KD probably has about 15,000-25,000 play-calling reps. Ken was audibling for the Canes as a QB back in the beginning of the century.
You all act like he's fresh out of the box or that no one knows what his play-calling abilities are. There is a REASON he's in line for one of the only 32 NFL OC jobs on Earth, and why owners, coaches and GM's are ready to risk tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars worth of success on his abilities. Checkers is boring fellas. Expand your views. Football brains like KD don't come around that often. He is a scarce commodity with very hiis agh upside.
There is apprehension on going back to a more conservative offense. IM NOT SAYING KD WOULD run that but I also have no clue what a KD offense would look like. Maybe there is some information out there that would shed some light into what he would run. I would like to see that and I think that would help. JMO
