Will we have coordinators named before hitting 200 pages? Stay tuned.
Heck no.

I’m setting the new line at 230.5 pagesHeck no.
Gaytor troll alertMario's coordinators and assistants hiring's or soon to be hiring's have been disappointing compared to what Napier is putting together in Gainesville
Supposedly spending a million each on 4 different nfl assistants Chris rumph and Karl Scott are 2 of them
What hires are you disappointed in?Mario having a huge budget for coordinators and assistants, while seemingly using that budget to give his Oregon staff raises is disappointing. Was expecting better.
Not entirely applying to @brock but some of you guys are a combination of uninformed and/or half full glasses. We have a higher on field staff budget than the gaytor by almost $1 million.Supposedly spending a million each on 4 different nfl assistants Chris rumph and Karl Scott are 2 of them
Lol at dudes on here crying about the Oregon Coaches Mario brought over here and then pointing to the gaytors as the shining light when Billy Gapier brought over support staff and on-field - his co-DC/S coach, S&C coach, 1 OL Coach (out of possibly 2) and his RB/Assoc HC - all came with him from Louisiana Lafayette.Mario's coordinators and assistants hiring's or soon to be hiring's have been disappointing compared to what Napier is putting together in Gainesville

You know **** well Mario reads CIS.

Muschamp is no longer off field. That changed when Cochran went on leave. When Cochran returned, Kirby placed Cochran in an off field role and Muschamp stayed as an on field coach.
Edit: Also, Lanning is not in Oregon unless something changed recently. He was set to remain for the semi and final if they won the semi game.
So just because a guy is an NFL OC, he should be our OC? What if he is a sh*tty NFL OC? Should we get Brian Schottenheimer? Should we get Matt Canada? If all it takes is for them to be an NFL guy, there are plenty of terrible former NFL OC's who are out of a job who would love to come here.
How about we let Dorsey actually become an OC first? And then we let him perform and see how he does? How does that sound?
false. this assumes that all the best 32 +/- OCs are actually working in the NFL, which isn't and will never be the caseThe worst OC in the NFL is the 32nd best person in the world at his job, give or take.
Kirby Smart announced Lanning will only be coaching OLBs for the playoff. I’d assume he doesn’t want Lanning being distracted with Oregon to get in the way of game prep. Schumann and Muschamp are co-DCs starting in the playoff. Then why is Lanning even staying through the playoffs? That doesn't make much sense for him to stay but then be stripped of playcalling.
I don’t care about experience, tbh I think it’s a tad bit overrated. It matters but to a degree.
I want smart football people , those types always shoot up the coaching ranks fast. And it’s for a reason. It’s like anything else in the world, why should super smart / talented people be punished or held back because they lack experience? Kellen Moore is the perfect example, by people’s logic here he should just be getting an on field job. Since he had “ no experience”. Anyone that spent time with him knew he was just on a whole different level when it came to football iq. Smart football people felt dumb after talking to him.
I know Mario wants recruiters and that’s his deal but the coordinators on this staff need to be smart smart X/ O guys. There’ll also be a lot of smart people in analyst roles.
This staff will have a lot more off field people versus the previous staffs. That’s one area people forget about when they want to know where all this extra staff money is going.
We just had Manny and Patke..Oregon staff was better in every way except Offensive coordinatorMario having a huge budget for coordinators and assistants, while seemingly using that budget to give his Oregon staff raises is disappointing. Was expecting better.
