Using that criterion, it seems to have worked very well going with Harsin.Connected Auburn dude on 247 stated that Steele wasn’t interested as of lunch time today. And then followed up and said a lot of the BoT wants someone with no prior Auburn connections.
A job with enough money to do what ever the **** they want. Not many of those jobs existManny coming from Temple to Miami 2.0
Literally the same exact situation if they pulled that trigger.
Lashlee isn’t cut out for an SEC job anyway. Big 12 or ACC, maybe. But SMU is a great place for him. Low-key a top 25 job in college football.
I'm sure Lashlee would jump right back into the briar patch considering how well the Auburn faithful just loved him while Malzahn ran him off to UConn.Manny coming from Temple to Miami 2.0

Can’t emphasize enough how right on the button this is. The same folks who whinge about any discussion being had that isn’t lockstep with homerism are the same who then cry foul of how miserable everything is.Unfortunately a lot of our fans are incapable of having a nuanced discussion about Dorsey. I don't think anyone was saying they hated the idea of hiring Dorsey--at least not in recent months. It was more a matter of preference relative to some of the other candidates being discussed. Some fans preferred Briles or Brady because we have a better idea of the type of offense they would be running. With Dorsey, the type of offense he would run is a complete unknown since he's never been an OC before. That's all most of us were saying. Unfortunately some interpreted it as "OMG WHY DO YOU HATE KEN DORSEY!" and now feel vindicated that he got an NFL OC job, which nobody ever doubted would happen. And as you noted, some systems and coaches are better suited for the NFL. Sometimes more complex systems do not translate well to college because of the limitations on practice time in college.
$600K free ones. Thanks Georgia. **** you BMac. How's it going being in the same building as the man who fired you and the one who demoted you? How's the Miami only wants to run the ball while Georgia is throwing machine working on the trail, *******?
Quesadillas, too?Why do we have to choose?
Both
I think they have to pay a buy out since that was a lateral move technically.UGA was not ******* around if they paid a buyout for a WR coach. They didn’t want him taking 3 elite WRs down here. He can still rot.
Miami only wants to run the ball without knowing the OC is going to blow up in this guy's face. ******* Georgia degree is paying off. Must have been in the UGA MENSA club while at Georgia.UGA was not ******* around if they paid a buyout for a WR coach. They didn’t want him taking 3 elite WRs down here. He can still rot.
Mario had Stroud call Auburn and do his best old man impersonation. He pretended to be Steele and demanded that his name be immediately removed from consideration.Connected Auburn dude on 247 stated that Steele wasn’t interested as of lunch time today. No...No...No....Good??, yes....But Texas Brisket is unparalleled....But Memphis BBQ will make you slap the sh*t outta someone..

They can have my "Game C*CK"
Not Clint Hurtt. So who's replacing Steele if/when he bolts?
I love F1!oldham is a brit. i am sure he watches F1...
Not sure why I missed that but why do they get the home game again? Miami played them up there last time. How many of you plan to be in Clemson this fall?
Outside of both being former Canes, Dorsey and Hurtt shouldn’t be talked about in the same sentence. Dorsey is an up and comer that’s highly thought of and was coveted by a number of NFL teams to be OC. Hurtt is part of an organization that’s on the way down and desperately trying to cling to past success. He’ll probably be back in college as a position coach a year from now when the Seahawks clean house after Russ leaves and they miss the playoffs again.
