Uncle took me and my buddies all the way from Hampton VA over there just to get lunch and that sh*t was BANGIN! Sweet potato fries and the grilled garlic bread were A1 as well.
That makes me happy man. Now I’ve gotta find a lobster roll in your honor.

For being in the South, Tallahassee has zero good local BBQ spots. Our best BBQ might be 4 Rivers.
Jim and Milt's used to be the thing in the 80s and 90s. I heard 4 Rivers is not too bad from an old flying buddy who lives in Tallahassee.

Jim and Milt's really went downhill and they just closed down. 4 rivers is good and very reliable, probably one of the best "chain" BBQ I've had.

The unique flavor in Flanigan's BBQ saice is gherkin pickle juice. The unique flavor in Park Av's is french dressing.

So just but commercial sauce, add something odd and claim it's unique.
I definitely think it’s the sauce that makes Flanigan’s ribs appealing. I don’t really consider them to be barbecue but I still enjoy some sticky baby backs from there.

Looks like Steele is gonna do what he’s done the past 7 years and be a walk around, NFL type DC. What are you guys thoughts on Christian Robinson? I’m not sure on his coaching, but I know he can recruit. I guess it would be good for him to be under Steele’s wing.
Feel like UF fans complained about his coaching. But if he’s a dog on the trail Steele is a LB coach

FL fans didn’t seem to think his recruiting prowess was very high but I understand getting younger coaches with solid schools in their resume and working to develop them.

That depends sir, the ZR1 has been kicking Ferrari’s *** for years in Le Mans 😉
The difference between the two is insurmountable. One is crafted with history, performance, quality, fit and finish in mind. One is made in the **** hole that is Detroit and it shows. Yes corvette makes a solid inexpensive sports car for the common man. This is not a real conversation.

How’s Memphis?

Best pork ribs I’ve ever had are Buz & Neds in Richmond, VA. They do baby back and spare ribs.

Never tried their beef ribs. I know that’s big in Texas.
I use to live in the Hampton Roads area. I found this place on Food Network and drove up there to try it out. This was around 2013 and still today it remains the best BBQ I ever had!

Young and fits Mario’s mold of a relentless recruiter and workaholic.

Only 31 and got a shot at calling plays this year after they fired Grantham. Was not impressed at all there. Decent coach but their LBs struggled some.. not as bad as ours.

Id rate it on a 1-10 he’s probably an 8 recruiter and a 5 coach. 7ish overall. Oversight from a vet like Steele could help

I’m talking racing, where they put their best stuff on a track. They literally had to restrict the corvette bc Porsche and Ferrari couldn’t beat them. I’m not even a corvette fan, but the ZR1 which is a 6 figure car btw with 755 hp out of the factory slaps Ferrari

Charleston, SC resident here, the only reason I would say that’s true is because it’s hard to get Texas style in South Carolina. With that said I hold the opinion that for beef bbq Texas is boss, for pork, whole hog particularly, Carolinas hands down. Luckily for me we have both right here in Charleston! 😜
I need to come down for some crawfish lol
